Disappointed
I will start by saying the adults and kids all had a great time. Pools are awesome. Lots of lounge chairs around. With that being said we had some issues. First off our room keys did not work. We had to wait about 20min for security to let us in and with children, one being 2yrs old, that was not fun. Then we had to wait in the room for new keys and the crib we had reserved to be brought to the room. That was the beginning and end of day one. I agreed to the timeshare presentation to get discounted tickets to the fun zone. When we got there half the of amusements were not operating due to short staff. The next day when we went back they informed us the kids needed tennis shoes. This should have been told to us at check in when the tickets were purchased. We had very disappointed children. Thats no fun. We got them all siked up just to be let down. Then one our last morning I got up very early and waited outside for the golf cart to pick me up for the timeshare presentation. No one ever showed up. Whatever! When we were packing our cars the door got shut with everyone outside and none of our keys would open the door with half our stuff still inside so we waited at least 20 min again for security to come let us in. Now I have called 4xs and have been redirected and then it hangs up. I would really appreciate someone talking to me about this. I want this to be a yearly vaca destination for me and my grandkids but it it is not resolved I will find somewhere else to have fun with them

June 2025 Stay
I stayed in June of 2025 and I had fun. I had a couple things that bothered me though. One of which being many of the elevators were broke so you had to take stairs and I had a stroller and a baby so it was difficult. My second thing was the quality of the blankets on the bed were very poor for the price of the stay I expected more. Last thing my room was on the first floor which is fine but it smelled in the hallway.

Amazing Resort
IHG and Holiday Inn Vacation offer an amazing experience with everything you could ask for on one property. The resort is located minutes away from all three theme parks, malls and convention center.
Yes, I recommend this property.

Anniversary trip
This is our second time staying here. On this visit it was me and my wife. We stayed in the main building at registration. We love this location, I just would not stay in the main building. We complained about the noise throughout our stay. Staff did nothing to assist. Very disappointed. Fire alarm 7am both morning along with the noise was a wasted trip. No rest.

Great value
We recently stayed at Orange Lake Resort for a quick getaway for my boyfriends 50th birthday with his family that lived in Florida. We had a total of 6 adults and 2 children (8yrs and 2yrs) staying with us in the 3 bedroom villa. We had an additional 6 guests come visit us at the resort. We wanted to have fun and relax that didn't revolve around Disney Parks. We had a great time on the lazy river and sipping cocktails by the various pools. The kids enjoyed the foam party and the slides. The villa was spacious and well maintained. I would highly recommend looking at the list of activities and plan your day around were the activities are. Most of the them are at the West Village. I would like to visit again and stay at in another village.
Yes, I recommend this property.

Birthday Stay!
The resort was beautiful! I booked the east village to celebrate my 25th birthday and i don’t regret it! Unfortunately we were so busy with other things we didn’t get to do a lot on the actual resort this time but when we did get back for the day, it was quiet and we were able to relax and get some good rest. The room was spacious, clean, and I can’t wait to come back again! I may make this a yearly tradition lol :).
Yes, I recommend this property.

Wonderful and Reviving
Our stay at holiday Inn orange lake resort was amazing. My fiance and I took her parents on a promotional getaway that was offered to me. We loved the place so much that I bought a club membership. I used to dread going on vacation because i would have to spend money and take off work so I wouldn't be making money either. Knowing that I'll have points for vacationing makes me feel better, I'm actually genuinely excited for our future vacations at spots like this one. That lazy river and jacuzzi healed my back! Next time I'm going to the golf course!️
Yes, I recommend this property.

A good family vacation spot if all goes well
I arrived here shortly after having surgery looking to relax with my children and friend. Granted I was unable to fully take advantage of everything at the resort however I was not made aware of the amenities available to me either. My children did not complain once about the pools they loved those and they did seem to have a few activities for children of all ages at them. Cabanas we not available and the seating was VERY limited at the pools so unless you were there early, you were out of luck to even get an area where just 2 people could sit and not be cooked by the sun. The cocktails were very good however only offering Bacardi was kind of a turn off for me, I’m a whiskey person and they only had the stuff I haven’t touched since my early 20’s. I went to 2 of the restaurants one by the lazy river and it was good but very over priced for what you get. Paisan pizza was by far my kids favorite and I’d definitely recommend that if you want a pizza night. Now comes the fun stuff, checking in, it was smooth, or so I thought. I asked for an early check in as I arrived an hour earlier than expected. I was told by the lovely man at the desk that they would send me a text with my room number shortly as my room was not ready. Over an hour later, I went to the desk and my room was still not ready so they gave me a different room than they expected, well as I was about tap my key card, a gentleman came up to me and very politely told me I had the wrong room, which I did as I was given the room he was currently occupying! Back to the desk they gave me yet another room. By the time this whole ordeal was sorted it was almost 6 pm and I arrived at 3! Then the next day, I asked for an extension on my stay for an additional 2 days. I was told I would have to check out and then wait for check in instead of keeping my same room! Luckily that got sorted and I was able to keep the same room. The same day I received a message from Sesame (yes her name) that said I was to check out the next day, after I extended for 2 more days, and she proceeded to argue with me via text saying my room was not extended and if I did not clear my room by 10 am housekeeping would have me removed from the room! Back up to the front desk, they were just as confused as I was. The next day the lights went out in my master suite for my bathroom and vanity while I was in the shower. Come to find out my room phone to call the front desk didn’t work so after scrambling to find the number to the resort, going through the automated system, finally speaking to someone, I was told 15 minutes for maintenance to show up. Almost an hour later, they showed up and very quickly fixed the issue. The last day at the resort was a migraine for me! Mind you, I’m traveling with small children and the internet in the room wasn’t working all day! No phones, tablets, systems, anything. On top of that I had to request access to the WiFi each day I was there. Kind of inconvenient especially since I was supposed to log into my classes that day. The only day that was uneventful was check out! Each day out of my visit was something, granted mostly small but still inconvenient. It seemed as if most of my stay was spent at the front lobby dealing with something that went wrong.
Yes, I recommend this property.
