Home away from Home

My experience with Seaside resort started off a bit rocky due to an hour delay on getting to our room. However the staff did apologize numerous times and reassured that they were moving quickly as possible. Upon retrieving room keys I was delighted to find my signature villa suite was everything like the pics online and I was very pleased. It truly is a home away from home with all the bells and whistles needed. It is especially good for those with children and need to cook since they give you all the utensils you will need. I would definitely recommend treating yourself to the signature villa with private beach access. It is definitely worth it

Been here three times and always enjoy it!

We love the Villa Suites. They provide a beautiful view and they are nice and private. Beautiful decor and comfortable for an intimate group stay!

Comfortable bed

It was overall a great experience. Close to the beach. Rooms were very clean. I would recommend this to any family that's going on vacation.

Spacious Comfortable Updated Signature Villas

We enjoy our stays in the signature villas. Beach access is very good and beach is never overcrowded. Our only complaint is the pool noise and requesting a room that is away from the pool. On the last day of our stay the resort allowed a extremely large group of people to gather all day in the pool disrupting other guest with noise. It was not a kid friendly environment or peaceful to the alcohol being consumed by the group all day. Families left area due to behavior. This group should've been made to occupy beach area due to covid conditions and not allowed to gather in pool for entire day. Our son was not allowed to go back in pool due to conditions and never seen the employees wiping down the lounge chairs or tables following groups departure.

Checkout at 10 am is unfair for cost. Hire more staff!

Beautiful rooms

The rooms are beautiful but not comfortable.There is no comfy place to curl up with a book. The beds are super comfortable but an motor was running right overhead all night. The kitchen is gorgeous and the beach easily accessible.

Beautiful view from the infinity pool

We loved our stay in our 2 bedroom signature villa. The infinity pool was amazing with a beautiful view of the ocean. The rooms were spacious with beautiful decor. The kitchen was equipped with a high-end coffee maker and all the fixins plus all the right kitchenware we needed! We will definitely be back to stay here again!

Beautiful accommodations.

Beachfront- two bedroom with two baths made our trip very enjoyable with children. No interaction with staff or guests for our entire 3 days. Very covid-safe!

The difference 1 year makes

While I previously stayed at this hotel and shared in an enjoyable experience, more recently was horrendous. First off I traveled 5 hours by car with 2 small children, an elderly parent and spouse as we were in need of a change of scenery and thought since the previous experience had been so great we would try again. Boy were we wrong, as upon arrival I was informed I was too early to access the room and given I am a reasonable person I understand, although superb customer service would have offered to look for an alternative that was ready. Anyhow, it was then 2:40 pm and I was told that I would receive a call by 4 pm to inform me that the room was ready. Well at about 4:10 I decide to call and check the status only to be told they would need another 15-20 minutes, which I deemed unacceptable and stated so. I was then offered a later check out as compensation, which I remained unsatisfied but accepted. Well approximately 30 minutes lapse and still no call which prompted me to call once again and be told it'll be another 20 minutes or so. I accept this response as I feel I have no choice and continue to wait, well what do you know it is now after 5 pm and still no call. I call once again and after waiting on hold while the front desk staff speaks with maintenance I am told the room is finally ready, but due to where the room is located I am only able to take a specific elevator. Well my family and I arrive at the specific elevator to find it malfunctioning where it opens and closes repeatedly but goes nowhere and while the bulk of us can take the steps we were traveling with tons of luggage. I call over to report this, but the staff seems unmoved so I end the call, as clearly professionalism is lacking. Once we finally enter the room immediately a mildew nasty smells smacks you in the face which was quite off putting. Attempting to ignore I then go into my own cleaning regimen and noticed the wear and tear suffered over the past year with scratches on the wall and other areas of damage not revealed in previous stay. As I am cleaning I notice a roach climbing up the wall and confirmed with both my husband and mother that it was indeed a roach before killing. I obviously call the front desk to report and was only offered that someone come spray the room which I declined as at that point I'd had enough. I packed up things requested a refund and exited. The only positive I can report was a speedy refund.

We would stay here again without hesitation. And we would recommend this to anyone
