Awesome! Can NOT wait to return!

My FAVORITE hotel in the US! I did enjoy the hotel in Basel, but this one is in Galveston and I will be able to return again and again! Thanks to the wonderful staff that really made my stay so enjoyable.

waste of Money

what a piso filthy cramped goofy layout .... angry employees ... high price check around better deals have to be out there

dirty room/broken appliances

We enjoyed the location of this hotel, it was very nice to be able to walk to the beach. Unfortunately, our room was dirty in general, our coffee maker was broken as was our hair dryer. I'm surprised at the other good reviews as we will not be returning due to multiple additional issues with our room.

One night stay

Fair, peaceful and quiet. could be a little cleaner, especially arounf the pool area.

Wonderful respite

The resort was kind enough to give us a 2 BR villa on the top floor with direct ocean views. It was so fabulous, quiet. Other guests were quiet and respectful of each other. The villa was soooooo nice and clean, well stocked and this was such a wonderful stay I want to visit again soon. Thank you so much for a great vacation. Also, Sandy at the front desk was such a pleasant and delightful lady.

Awesome Room

Very Clean room, and great view of the beach, will come back next time we come to Galveston. Also we were happy with the location, not too far from the city, but not too crowded, and easy access to the beach.

Wonderful Weekend

We very much enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and the location was fantastic. If you are looking for a hotel that offers direct access to the beach in Galveston, this is the Only hotel available. It was great to be able to walk directly from the hotel to the beach without crossing the street. We were able to return to the room and easily retrieve food and beverages without having to carry everything at one time onto the beach. Parking was also great. We will stay here again.

One of the best values

The rooms and the whole place looked like it had just been cleaned up for the summer., fresh pain, clean rooms, clean everything. Great view, one of the few places on the beach. Not walking distance to anything, but, I came to relax, not shop. But, plenty of parking anyway for a car. And if you do drive, plenty of major stores, restaurant, chain and local place to drive to witting 8 miles. Only problem, kids in the hot tub and rule of, "no kids in the hot tub under 12 was not enforced". So, I stayed out of the hot rub. And, really nice staff, fast response, and made it nice to be there.

Nice Deluxe King room and friendly staff.

This is my second visit to this resort. I was impressed the first time I stayed last May with the size of the room and the location on the beach. Very nice part of the beach, not so crowded. The pool area is nice with an infinity pool overlooking the beach. All rooms have beach views and patios to sit on. We stayed in a deluxe king room, very roomy and large bathroom. I would and have recommended this hotel to friends and family. We will be back next year for sure, possibly again this year. The staff is friendly and accommodating. I asked to stay in a similar room and location that I stayed last year and they got us a room very close to the same area. It was great!
