Great place but can use more amenities

Nice place but they can use an onsite restaurant or bar & grill like the other Holiday Inn Resorts. More than one hot tub will help as well.

Great place for a family vacation!

We love coming to the resort with the family and spending quality time together. We come every year to celebrate my youngest child's birthday.We love the scenery, pools, and all the activities there are on the resort.

Wonderful stay

My first time I had a nice night I drove 2hrs away to come here. I was glad I made that drive. My kids enjoyed the self at the water park.

Enjoyable, yet need some improvement

I was here on a gathering with my extended family, My Room was an 8/10... Pots n pan cabinet had black mold on the bottom....also the Jacuzzi tub I was looking forward to using until there was orange brown stuff everywhere when I turned on the jets, decided to drain and not use. The room overall was very accommodating for the nine people we had in our party for our family. Also very well equipped. I have stayed at other resorts and sometimes they're not well equipped for what you need and this was pretty well equipped. We went to the pool, the outdoor pool and over there by the outdoor pool they had what looks to be carpenter bees. They're pretty big, but when you're walking from the pool to the parking lot down that sidewalk there all over and if you're scared of bees, of course it's going to be a turn off so I feel like that's something that may need to be looked at overall my experience there was very nice. There's just some things that need to be looked at and it could be me because I work for the hotel business and there's things that I see that are always brought to my attention. So I'm just bringing them to your attention because it is a very nice resort and if you fix these things it will stay a nice resort. Thank you so much. Oh and by the way Debbie who checked me in and she was there everyday that I was there. She did a wonderful job explaining where things were and what things to look forward to and everything. So please give her kudos. She's a good employee that you have. Thank you 😀

It’s not a resort water park,be aware of extra fee

This is not a water park resort…. You pay extra money for each day to use the water park for kids! Only thing that is included is the big pool outside… everything else they charge u an extra price! Be aware! And if you leave your fire stick they will keep it…

My family and I enjoyed the balcony view in our penthouses suite the area was very nice and cozy and we love the nature and lake

Building 22 hotel style room with full kitchen

Overall the stay was good there was one hiccup with the towels but was quickly resolved. My suggestion would be more comfortable chair and it be vinyl for easy cleaning. The chair in my room did not look too clean and I forgot to bring this to their attention.

enjoyed the location -we stayed in the presidential suite . I cant wait to go back . i recommend staying for 2-3 days to get the full resort experience

Terrible

Good day, our family reunion was at the Fox River Resort. I will never stay there again and I would not recommend anyone else to stay there. They put my family in the outdated Villas. The rooms were not clean, hairballs behind bathroom doors, mirrors around jacuzzi tubes had MEGA water spots, coffee pots were from the 1980’s. I didn’t go to the outdoor pool but the indoor pool had multiple dead bugs and there was muddy water around the pool. I felt dirty my entire stay. Not to mention the group sales department; the service was horrible!!!
