The Resort staff was Excellent.

The Resort was spotless. The staff was always friendly in and around the Resort. Pools, lazy river and hot tubs, always in excellent condition. NO Bugs or creates in the rooms. I can't say that about every place I've stayed in Myrtle Beach.

Brought my wife and daughter for a quick beach tri

Brought my wife and daughter for a quick beach trip. The HI Resort was beyond perfect. For a family of three there was more than enough space. Great stocked kitchen. The two pool complexes are so much fun. One had more of a party vide and the other was quiet and relaxing! This is going to be at the top of my agenda next time I'm planning a trip to Myrtle!

Another good trip

Enjoyed another trip at this great resort. The employees are great. We were charged a new fee of "Night Audit" for the sum of 299.39 that I questioned but have not received an answer yet. Not happy about it. May have a bearing if we continue to go there.

Comfort and fun

We always love staying at South Beach Resort, it’s great for kids and adult activities. The location has several outdoor pools, water slides, playground and indoor pool

Spring Family Trip

Exceptional staff and we love the location, amenities and clean rooms. Our family group was spread across multiple buildings but could easily cross the courtyard or meet by the fountain to save steps too! We look forward to returning.

Didn’t Know It Was A Timeshare

The check in was impeded by a sales pitch to go to their timeshare presentation. I would not have chosen this place if I’d known it was a timeshare. While the property is beautiful with great rooms and amenities, be aware that it is under the flight path of the helicopter tours, as well as the airport. Those two things, combined with the constant playing of music in the pool areas makes this VERY NOISY. Also, it is across the streams then a bit away from the beach, although there is a shuttle to take you there. And it is about 2 miles away from the Myrtle Beach boardwalk.

Not the most restful trip

This property is located on the takeoff/approach for the airport so noise level is high. The helicopter touring the beach is a constant during the day. It was hard to obtain a good night's sleep due to the lumpy foam pillows used here (unlike the really nice ones found at HI Express properties.) This property does have heated pools which was great however they piped in hip-hop music. This may have been preferred by the staff however, none of the guests (Mostly 50 and up) using the pool on the days we were there thought it was a good choice. The hotel needs to have a mix of music covering all popular styles and generations. They charge for shuttle service to everything (unlike others vacation properties in MB) so plan on driving yourself. There is a short walk to get to the beach which is not bad since traffic in this area is set to be slower. There is no crosswalk or light however to get across the street.

Wonderful setting off the busy path, quiet and clean. We felt relaxed and while the resort seemed mostly booked, you didn’t hear a lot of noise.

Excellent experience. Will be back and stay longer

We visited for a couple of days to kick off our anniversary vacation. Everything was great. The staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The resort is beautiful, clean and quiet. There is a shuttle to the beach which is right across the street. If you want to walk, it's scenic and quick. We plan to come back with the family next year. My only "complaint" is the bed wasn't super comfortable. I woke up feeling a little achy but my body is also funny sometimes lol. Also we didn't know in advance about being offered to attend a timeshare presentation. They weren't pushy about it though. We didn't attend either.
