50th Wedding Anniversary Celebration

The entire hotel employees bent over backwards to help us where they saw needs, and accommodate us with kindness, smiles, and “good morning”s everyday. Some even remembered our names! There were 25 of us in 4 different units, and all I heard were thank yous and positive comments on the accommodations and the people working there. It doesn’t get any better than these employees who model the love of their company and leadership working there.

Beautiful property. Cozy stay.

Another great stay at an IHG property. Beautiful pools inside and out. Grills on the property if you need. Spacious, clean, comfortable rooms. Feel good walks and Trolley rides. Check-in was ok but the clerks were courteous. Kid's Splash Pool was a hit with the grandkids. We overspent in the Game Room but a good time was had. Saw about 7 sightings of bears, only one being close. It was up a tree as we walked by. Love the balcony. Very cozy with a calming water creek in view. Nice city, nice staff, really nice hotel. Acknowledged that we were IHG members. Love that, always a plus!

Not the nicest hotel, but was fine for one night

I requested a villa with a mountain view, and I understand that request is not guaranteed, but we had a view of large container garbage cans and some trees. Although it was a nice day outside, we did not care to sit on the balcony at all, which was very disappointing.

Perfectly between Gatlinburg and Nature Trail

Perfectly located between the bustling Gatlinburg and the serenity of the Motor Nature Trail in the Greak Smokies National Forest, this resort offers courteous staff and clean spacious rooms with great views. Watch the Ober Gatlinburg trams from your deck. So comfortable we didn't want to leave!

Great place for families or couples

Myself, my two college sons, and my mother-in-law stayed here while attending a church convention. It was wonderful having three bedrooms, one with two queen beds, and three bathrooms as well as a full kitchen, dining room, living room, and laundry facilities. Comfortable beds, large bathrooms, big towels, and a well stocked kitchen were all appreciated as was having plenty of things like toilet paper, garbage bags, pool towels, etc. provided. The front desk staff were so friendly and helpful. REALLY appreciated at the other desk they respected my "no thank you" for a tour and there was no high pressure at all. Great place to stay with kids, with the multiple swimming pools (including in the winter) and the little indoor water park. Easy to walk down the hill to the main strip and especially easy to walk to the convention center. We did have some issues with the hot and cold water regulating in the master bathroom shower that were frustrating but hopefully they'll get that fixed. If you are staying during the warmer months, I would want to know that the A/C has trouble keeping up with the heat during the day, I was told this is an ongoing problem. I would also bring your own pillows unless you don't mind sleeping in a king size bed with small pillows. If you are driving and not flying and it's summer, I'd bring a fan.

Should have better check in experience

Though being a IHG listed hotel they say we are private property and whatever questions you have speak to directly IHG Did not find very good Diamond Elite experience No welcome emenities placed not even water bottles

Could have been better.

The location was walkable to downtown but our over all experience was very poor. I had requested a higher floor so my out of the country family could enjoy Mountain views but instead was given a ground floor room, facing the street with a view of the Super 8 motel. I was told I should have contacted the hotel directly for them to honor my request. They don't receive that information from the Holiday Inn vacation club. I had even paid out of pocket for this trip to make it special. Then the next day we were again told they couldn't accommodate are request even though there were many rooms with lights out and the parking lot was practically empty. Then they told my 87 year old mother to find her own luggage cart and that we should be washing our own towels. As you can see they failed in numerous areas of customer service. The splash park was enjoyed by the little one even though it is in the hotel next door.

Great place in Gatlinburg!

I have stayed here several times and highly recommend it for others. Great rooms, friendly staff and excellent location. You can’t go wrong here.

Weekend Escape

Hotel was clean location was great . Staff was very friendly. Cons were the noise level was extremely loud you could hear everything outside. Easy to get lost getting to and from pools and breakfast area . Told to wash my towels.
