Better than expected

I absolutely enjoyed staying at the orange lake resort. Villa was well appointed, spacious and clean. Looked like it had been recently renovated. No complaints here. Beds were comfortable, they provided extra pillows and blankets. Slept wonderfully. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff was incredible

Highly recommend staying at this property. The staff accommodated our needs with a smile! We were there meeting old friends and only had 1 night to be together. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. We ate lunch and dinner at the Breezes Restaurant as our friends are from the north as just wanted to be outside. The drinks were great and food was awesome. Next time we will be staying for a few days. Great place to relax. We love the fact that you don't have to leave the property to dine at several restaurants. Thank you for making our short visit one to remember.

Wonderful resort . Great accommodation .. easy to maneuver around with resort transportation

Everything great accept internet agreement

Everything was great (especially Florida resident rate) except I was connected to the wifi but the "agreement" you need to sign would never come up (so I was unable to use the internet on my computers the whole stay). Worked on phone and playstation but even the tech support could not get it to come up on computers. If I had not had alternatives it would have been rough (as car radiator got punctured and I had no transportation first days).

Good place 2nd time staying

Would of like to been told before we booked that the one pool area and lazy river were closed prior to booking. Me and my wife stayed there before and went back for our wedding anniversary just for the lazy river and that pool area. Would of like to been told before booking it was under construction. I was upset and brought it up to staff and they said oh well guess you have to come back which further made me upset. But besides that the grounds and rooms are very nice

This is a great resort for families.

We have stayed here many times and sometimes with our grandchildren. It is always a wonderful experience.

Awful Customer Service.

So you get to this resort and automatically they are making you sign up for a time share tour, you go on this tour and they push you so hard that when you say no they stop being nice to you. oh and the tour was supposed to be at max 90 minutes and it was well over 2 hours. I was supposed to check out at 10 didn’t get out of there until 10:45. An hour past when I was supposed to get out. Luckily I had checked out earlier but the lady at the desk told me I didn’t have to. I emailed guest services and they contacted the hotel manager twice and they have not reached out to me. The only good service I had was the people at the pizzeria. Will not be coming back. Ever.

A comfortable place

My second stay, first time could not have been better. This stay I was not as happy with. We stayed in a two bedroom villa # 2009 and the carpeting was flithy. Also found a very large cockroach / palmetto bug in the master bedroom.

Poor manager

The resort was nice and most the staff was great! However the manager Dave was horrible. Extremely unprofessional, unaccomodating and rude. There was an issue due to IHG mistake and there was no type of attempt to even resolve it on his behalf and told us that our spire elite status is meaningless. Due to the poor treatment from the resort manager Dave I would not recommend or return to this resort.
