Beautiful newer property

I was in MB for a dance convention. It was 4+ miles to Convention Center. Easy drive in the Am w/little traffic. Front desk was helpful upon checkin, food & beverage staff friendly. Little interaction w/other hotel staff. Pool & beach access were perfect. Bathrooms need better lighting & more towel hooks for hand towels & shower towels.

The overall stay was excellent,, I recommend anyone in the Myrtle Beach area to stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean , the staff was very friendly, My overall stay was excellent

Disappointing stay

Unfortunately, I didn’t enjoy my stay as much as I expected. While I will say the resort itself was very clean and the rooms were nice, I was disappointed that the photos used during booking were misleading about the actual room location. I booked a 1-bedroom Signature Villa expecting the pool view shown in the photos, but that was not what I received. I was later told that I needed to call ahead and specifically request that type of room, which was frustrating because that information was never made clear during the booking process. On top of that, I had called about a week before my stay to ask about construction on the beach and was told there was no construction going on and that they didn’t know anything about it. When we arrived, however, they were working on the beach right below the resort, which was very disappointing and affected the overall experience. I also did not appreciate being approached about purchasing a timeshare immediately during check-in. It made the experience feel more like a sales pitch than the relaxing getaway I was expecting. I think the resort needs to be much more transparent about room locations, construction, and specific booking details so guests know exactly what they are paying for. Overall, the property itself was nice, clean, and well maintained, but the booking experience and check-in process need significant improvement.

Everything was remarkable...I would highly recommend staying here definitely worth the price per night Everything was perfect and I'm coming back to stay longer.

TERRIBLE experience at IHG in Myrtle Beach, SC.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, I selected the Two-Bedroom Signature Villa on Booking.Com via the pictures upload, but when arrived Receptionist gave me another room, totally difference in the downgrade aspect. When I talked to them they said it was a bad communication between IHG and booking.com. And finally, I have to stayed in the room I did not selected, so customer HAVE TO PAID FOR THE PRICE AS THEIR BAD COMMUNICATION??? They also did not send any reminding, confirmation, or deposit require....... before arrival even I called them to remind them one day before arrival. But by the time I arrived, receptionist ask me to pay $115 for deposit??? and even worst after driving for 8 hours, receptionist ask me to stay with them to introduce their service even I told them my two little are tired....I just say two words TERRIBLE & INPROFESSIONAL. In a basic, business should be built by integrity and information transparence. For the facility, I have to say correctly, it is clean, some employees I met are friendly.

You must stay at this Resort

It was a great place to celebrate my birthday! The environment is very relaxing and Jose who works at the front desk was very accommodating and helped get me an amazing view from my room!!! The food is excellent and the heated pool is the icing on the cake. I love how the room came with stackable washer and dryer very convenient!!!! This is a place you have to experience at least once when coming to Mrytle beach, SC

A great place to stay

Every thing here is so nice and beautiful. The pool area is great and everyone is very friendly. The food is very good the room was excellent and all the staff members were very nice and helpful. The location was great , right on the ocean.

Great place to stay

This hotel was a great place to stay in Myrtle Beach. The hotel was clean for the most part. We had strands of hair in our showers and a cleaning towel left on the bathroom counter but everything else was great. The noise level wasn't bad at night but my husband and I were trying to sleep in, sometimes it would be loud around 9/10a since we were next to the cleaning crew room. The doors were slammed multiple times and we could hear people talking loud in the hallways. The walls were thin in my opinion. The food was mediocre at the Cafe. I wasn't memorized by it so we would eat somewhere else most days. The TV was excellent. We had an option to sign in to our Netflix account to watch movies. The pool was nice and warm. Easy access to the beach. Parking was simple and convenient. The kitchen in the room was huge. It was nice to use the ice machine in the freezer and the microwave to heat up food. There is a washer and dryer as well inside each room I believe too. Overall, I recommend this place just be mindful they will try to get you to attend a timeshare presentation. My husband and I did not participate in the presentation based on reviews who said it was a waste of time unless you can get free stuff out of it.

Great Beach Location

I would recommend this hotel. The room set up is great with two separate bedrooms and a fully stocked kitchen with full size refrigerator. Large en-suite bathroom with double sink. The beds were extremely comfortable as were the pillows. the tv offered Netflix, Hulu and Prime easy log in so I was able to watch my favorite shows. The pool was never over crowded during my stay and the beach was very nice. Never over crowded. Underground parking provided easy access to the rooms.

Must Stay

Love it will return for more vacations in future. You must stay at this property it's so beautiful and family friendly. I have stayed several times and not disappointed at my stays. I love being able to be ocean front.
