Great Stay!

Family had a great check in experience with Desmond!

Great location and view

We had a great time in our room. It had a great view of the Gulf, and the pool was great. The room accommodated our family nicely, and the beds were comfortable. The room was really clean, and had a full kitchen for us to make food as we needed.

Spacious rooms right on the beach

Room description does not do it justice! Excellent room, excellent bathroom and lovely private balcony patio overlooking the pool and beach.

Spacious and well kept

The place was very nicely decorated. Spacious and well kept. The view of the ocean was really nice. The hotel can benefit if a restaurant is added or better food options. However the people at the cafeteria was very kind!

Great pace to stay, very relaxing

Mediocre at Best

After check-in, you are told that another person has to set up your room keys...what they don't tell you is that person is going to set you up for a 90 minute presentation to be granted access to the heated pool and hot tub and some other awards that they initially made it seem like were complimentary as an IHG member. If you don't attend the meeting, they will charge a $30 fee to the card on file. We visited while Texas was going through a cold spell so without the heated pool and hot tub we wouldn't have gotten in the water. The regular pool was not heated and couldn't have been higher than 60 degrees. The condo itself was nice and well cleaned but number of things weren't quite as hoped. The shower pressure was terrible, twice as long to shower just to get the shampoo out of your hair. Missing amenities in the kitchen with a toaster that didn't work. The outlets were hit or miss, some worked and some didn't. While I wouldn't stay at this property again, I would recommend it to those who are traveling when the weather is better. The tennis and basketball courts were in good shape, kids had fun at the mini golf area and in the arcade. We never ate at the bar/grill since they close at 7 (weren't made aware of that until we tried to eat there after 7). Safe area for families and walking distance to the Gulf. 3.5/5 stars.

Amazing view

We upgraded to a signature room and couldn’t be happier. The room was gorgeous. The walk to the beach was short and easy. The cafe/bar being open until 10 was an added perk. Will be staying here again.

Elevator in building 16

The elevator in building 16 needs to be serviced we were stuck on the elevator twice once when it was just me and another with my family. The second time the elevator malfunctioned and my pregnant wife was thrown onto the floor by the force of the elevator

Great Location

Great location on the beach to sit back and relax. Scenery was pretty, not too busy and it was kept clean. There was lots of activities to do both at the hotel and in the neighboring city. The hotel had activities planned for the guest. The city had lots of attractions but still had a nice small town feeling.

Vacation

Was disappointed that the hotel was not on the beach.
