Business with the Family

I need to make this trip due to business. Since it was one of the first weekends of summer break, I thought I would bring my family for a small vacation stay. We were greeted with a very friendly staff member, she helped up get in and get comfortable. We picked this hotel due to the location and how close it was to the beach. My daughters loved it. I was slightly disappointed in that the rooms seems to be a little outdated, but overall we’re nice. There were a few things in the room, like hairs in the shower and on the pull out couch comforter, but these things happen. I would have liked if there had been a breakfast option, like with most holiday inn hotels, but it wasn’t a deal breaker to stay here. If there was a breakfast option I was not made aware of it so that is the only reason for a poor rating on that. Had a great time with the family, little things here and there, but nothing that would keep me away from the hotel again.

Nice room and good location

The hotel is right on the beach with east access, but it is a public beach and very busy. Hotel staff was super helpful, kind and courteous (everyone was amazing!). The hotel and hotel room was clean and comfortable. We visited over a holiday weekend and the hotel was very busy. We did not use the pool because there was multiple parties in the pool all weekend. The noise level was high Saturday and Sunday night. Our room was not on the pool side so that noise from the pool did not bother us. But the noise from the parties above us kept us up most of the night. Overall decent location, clean hotel, not super peaceful.

Love this place

We enjoyed staying at the Holiday inn club vacations in Galveston the rooms are great they face the beach the pool and hot tub is also great then you can walk right to the beach for a walk love staying here.

Love the suites and full kitchen. Wish the view was better.

great location

the location was right on the beach. WIFI was ridiculous, I couldn't get my work done because of it and had to get a room change. Had to go off property for breakfast and to eat. Other than that I had relaxing time in the room watching TV and the sunset.

Bad customer service and promises not met

I was promised a top floor room with an ocean view to propose to my girlfriend and I was given a first floor room.. I told them I was coming in from west Texas and I was promised the room and was given a first floor room

Great views and fun

Amazing shore views from villa. Pool is great with beautiful scenery. Was surprised by wine tasting! Restaurants and Galveston are a few driving minutes away. Great food, fun and beaches! Went with my friend and enjoyed everything. Great stay for families or friends. Highly recommend!

Great pool and proximity to the beach.

The location was great. The room was really nice and clean. The convenience of the kitchen, laundry, etc. saved us from having to eat out all the time. Overall a great place with a really nice pool. The only complaint is I wish the bed was a little more plush.

Beautiful king villa

This little vacation would have been perfect were it not for the neighborhood next door. They have obliterated any beach view from the northeast side of the resort with their 3,4,& 5 story houses. (The construction noise of house building is also somewhat irritating. Unfortunately, Galveston development is at full tilt, I don’t think they’ve left one spot on the island unspoiled.) But all that being said- a villa at this resort does very well in providing a pretty little refuge after a day out fishing and exploring. The king villa was spacious, very nicely decorated, comfortable furniture, wonderful well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was huge, had a large jacuzzi tub and separate shower- all exceptionally clean.
