Great place to stay

This is a lovely simple resort with all the amenities that you could want for a comfortable stay.

Perfect for failies

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay here! Nice spacious room, clean and great facilities on the resort. Resort is right on the beach, which was lovely! I would stay again. Only improvement would be to heat the pool in cooler months.

Nice February getaway

My fiancée and I wanted somewhere for an extended weekend getaway. Preferably somewhere warmer than the Midwest. Neither of us had been to Galveston, but it, and this hotel, fit the bill perfectly. The staff was extremely friendly, beach access was convenient, and the hotel was secluded from the cluttered tourist areas. We took advantage of the in room kitchen, which was thoughtfully stocked with all the dishes/ appliances we needed. The room as a whole was comfortable. Our room shared an entry way with another room, which did lead to a lot of slamming doors as our neighbors came and went. Otherwise the room was very quiet, secluded place. We didn't take advantage of everything the hotel had to offer. While we were there they had a movie night in the common area, as well as a wine and cheese event. The hot tub was very nice at the end of the day. The staff informed us the pool was unheated in the months of January - March, which would have been nice. It certainly seemed as if the hotel had enough guests to maintain the pool during the "off" season. Not a deal breaker by any means! We also took advantage of the extensive dvd library for a couple in-room movie nights.

This Hotel/Condo is on the West beach end. Still close enough to get to shopping areas quickly. The hotel seems to be fairly new, everything is beautiful and clean. The front desk employees are very friendly and ready to help you. Has a beautiful pool and hot tub area, and a very nice walkway to the beach. The larger unit has a very comfortable king bed, and a very nice bathroom with individual shower and jacuzzi tub. Every room has a balcony, and all rooms have a good view of either pool or beach. The only thing that I could think to improve the room is a bigger flat screen television, but what they have is nothing to complain about. We had a great time there, and would definitely come back!

Awesome Place to Stay!

We stayed in the Villa with a Full view of the ocean. Just breathtaking to wake up and see such an amazing site each morning. I would definitely recommend this resort.

Mostly Good

We actually enjoyed our stay. The room set up was perfect for my little family of three. We brought our pack-n-play for the toddler and there was just enough room for it in the bedroom. We were able to put her to bed at night and still be up and moving about the rest of the suite without disturbing her. I was also able to do the same in the mornings while my husband and daughter slept. The only downside about this property is that the rooms are starting to get a little outdated. The bathroom definitely needed some updating and the vanity lights were barely hanging on to the wall. The common spaces and the building itself were in really great shape. There is also a bit of a bug problem in the rooms, so if you get too freaked out about a random bug, this is probably not for you. The beach was clean and easy to get to and I loved the location of the resort. It's just far enough out of town to sit on the beach and not the seawall, but it's still easy to get everywhere with a car.

Awesome views!

We loved our 2 night stay...really wasn't long enough! Our room was a 1 bedroom unit on the East side with a view of the pool area and the gulf. We loved having so much room! Everything from check-in to check-out was great. We do see where some updating needs to take place. The washer and dryer unit was nice to have even if shared with room next door, but the dryers need a little work as it took a long time to dry just 3 pairs of jeans. We would definitely stay here again!

110% satisfaction

We were meeting old friends that we had not seen in a long time. Little did we know that the hotel would play such an important part in our trip. The staff heard about our story and did all they could to make our stay special. It was! We planned on getting out of the hotel for most of the stay. Because of the fantastic accomodations, we ended up staying in the hotel most of the time and re-connecting with you friends. We will be back soon!!!
