Great for extended business stay

I had everything I needed for a long term business stay. While work kept me from attending most of the offered activities, there was always something going on if I wanted to do an activity without going to the street. The walls were thick so I couldn’t hear any neighbors, and the gym was adequate. The VIP experience was fabulous and they kept the room so clean. The blackout curtains were a big help, and the full size laundry room was a Godsend!

Family Vacation for March Break

This is my second time staying at this property. It is a wonderful choice for a family vacation. The grounds are excellent, and a variety of pools and activity centers occupy the kids. The staff is very friendly, and the location is very secure. As an IHG Platinum member I was a bit disappointed that I received a room with a balcony facing the parking lot, on my last stay we faced the pool areas which made better overall experience. We also had issues with the Air Conditioner in the room, it failed 3 different times on the trip and a technician had to come and repair it 3 times.

Spacious room, perfect for a family.

We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen, washer and dryer in the room , two bathrooms, and being close to the pool area made our stay very comfortable and affordable. It was an easy walk to the busy strip. It was nice to return to the quiet hotel. We will be back.

Stupid expensive and no late check out.

Not enough hot water to use the bath tub. No late check out but magically you can get one for an extra $50. No ice Nothing complimentary. No water, no breakfast... not sure what you really get for the price.

Bugs and hair in bathroom

Silver fish bugs and hair in bathroom. Cleaning staff began cleaning room as we were trying to check out before check out time

Oasis in Vegas

Great stay for those wanting to be off the strip hoopla. You are within walking distance of the Sands Expo Center and Venetian. The hotel also offers shuttle to the strip.

A gem with awful desk staff

Checking in and out are always a pain. Never get a receipt, have to wait in line and beg for it. Usually have to fight for any bonus points they owe you. Harass you to buy show tickets. If you can survive this all, it is a great place. Oh yeah, and checkin time is now 4pm!!!

Holiday Inn Vacation Resort - Las Vegas

Very nice resort property. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities are top notch with 5 pools, 2 exercise facilities and plenty of outdoor space with tiki huts and grills for bbq. The villas are updated and well kept. The only negative would be the free shuttle. It is free but priority is given to those that book shows, dinners or events thru the concierge service at the resort. If you don't use the concierge service you more than likely won't have a seat on the shuttles. Especially during prime time. Fortunately the resort is only a few blocks from the strip. Walk to Harrah's and take the monorail to get around Vegas.

Great for off stip Vegas

I stayed here because I had an event at the Sands Expo/Convention center. Price was much better that Casino resorts and close to the Venue and many restaurants. Full Kitchen was nice for getting some food and making breakfast.
