The ammenities are fantastic
The rooms are very nice and spacious and the amenities are plenty; but they won't let you check in until 4pm and out by 10am. Sure you can leave your belongings in the car and head to the beach or the pool, but your room will not be ready until 4pm. If you want to stay an extra hour or two in the morning be ready to pay. This resort is fantastic but overpriced for a one or two night stay. We would have liked a couple of extra hours in the afternoon to experience more of what they are charging for.

Overall good
Roomy room. Laundry in the unit ( two bedroom). Fantastic pool and play area Poor onsite food. Tasted like bad frozen food Check in awful. Annoying sales pitch before we could get parking permit

Great outside pool area but poor rooms and common areas
Stayed at this hotel in April 2018 for 1 night during a recent family vacation to Orlando. Used this stay as a base to visit the Kennedy Space Centre as it was close by. First impressions were good, it's a large complex with its own access to the beach. The pool area and kids splash pool and lazy river were really good as was the pool bar and food. The atmosphere around the pool was great with music and activities on throughout the afternoon. We were surprised though that everything shut down at 10pm with no where outside to sit and chill in the evening. The room was small and although I had booked for 4 people I had to make up the 2 extra beds as this hadn't been done. The bathroom was also dirty with old soap left in the tray. The beds were uncomfortable and we had only been given towels for 2. Overall not a great experience and being a platinum elite customer I expected better, especially as I wasn't offered an upgrade even though this is one of the benefits and there were rooms available.

Horrible
First off, was told we would have a pool view room as we are returning guests. Instead ended up with a handicapped room. Asked why and was told that nothing else was available. Front desk woman stated hotel was completely booked which wasn’t true. Why would you give a family who doesn’t need a handicapped room? Makes no sense. Wouldn’t you keep room available for someone who really needed that type of room? Customer service was very poor. Also, there is no housekeeping available which we were informed during check in. If you run out of supplies you have to purchase either in their over priced market or drive to a grocery store. For the price they charge per night they should be more accommodating. Want to warn people that I was charged an extra $115 on my credit card which I saw on my statement. Called the hotel and lady was very rude and was told not their problem and to call my credit card company. So many more hotels in the area that are more reasonably priced. Will never return to this hotel.

Kind of a let down
Lot of easily avoidable issues. Plenty of better hotels, no need to choose this one. Low quality room and misinformation. Staff were unenthused. Whole experience with the hotel was a let down. I no longer trust the brand. This was a bigger disappointment because one of my favorite parts of vacationing is the hotel experience and in this case it was the worst part.

There are better locations
I was disapointed in this resort, especially when compared to the IHG locations in other areas, like Marco. The grounds were great, the pool was fun and had lots to do for the kids, but there were people smoking everywhere and no staff ever walked around. The room was tired and old, they had an in room AC unit because it got too hot in the room. The exhaust of this unit was taped to the window with painters tape. Had to bring our own shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, etc. And the front desk folks were not friendly. Lastly, we felt completely uncomfortable with the attack of the people trying to sell time shares. They kept calling and calling. It was odd.

Pool Staff!!
Your pool staff should take lessons from the pool staff at Universal Lowes Portofino..... Terrible attitude... Can't wait for closing.... Just hate their jobs... Sad!

10pm closng time
the pool, hot tub closed at 10pm and so did the work out-gym. I get that pool should close but the hot tub and gym should stay open longer. Most people on vacation stay up past 10pm and pay good money to sit in a hot tub and to have to get out of it at 10 pm is not very good. So after we remove ourselves from the hot tub we go to work out and that closed also.....we had a group of 40 people......not sure why the places closes down at 10pm. Also, the elevator needs to be repaired...huge safety issue about to happen.

Fantastic hotel!!!
We were looking to book a hotel close to portcanaveral for our cruise. This hotel exceeded our expectations. We could have stayed for more than one night if we didn't have to leave for our cruise.
