Comfortable and relaxing.

This is our second visit to David Wally's and the Hotel, Spa and especially the STAFF did not disappoint! The rooms are a bit "dated" but they are comfortable, clean and peaceful. We had a Villa which comes with nicely appointed full kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator/freezer, pots/pans, utensils), with other basics such as coffee maker, toaster, blender etc.... just like home!

Wally’s is worn

Property is worn. The highlight are the hot springs. Hopefully IG will put some $ into revitalizing this property.

Relaxing Weekend

We booked 2 nights at this resort to be able to relax and unwind from everyday life. Although the facilities are starting to show their age, the staff have kept it in great shape. We were able to relax in the hot springs and let the stress of the modern world melt away. The location of the resort is a nice balance of remote seclusion and a quick drive to just about anything that a guest would want to do.

Excellent in Every Way

Will and his team at David Walley's are extremely professional, thoughtful and courteous. I am a Diamond Elite member, and I stay at David Walley's a month or two each year. Will is an excellent communicator, thoughtful and always took time to make sure my stay was as comfortable as possible. Bre, Lori and Brittany are also extremely helpful. I appreciate the whole team at David Walley's. Excellent in every way. Thank you, Larry Cooper

No restaurant as advertised, carpet in halls and rooms worn and dated, staff was friendly

Don’t stay here

Room smelled of cigarette smoke. Poorly laid out room. Barking dog next door.

Comfortable stay and beautiful area!

Comfortable three nights spent at the resort. We had one little bump in our stay but Lori, Front Desk Supervisor, quickly resolved the matter. We would definitely stay here again!

Old facility over charge

Over charged from the booking quote. Booked 2 rooms for adjoining family. Placed in different buildings. One room old with broken doors. Second room in building B with parking lot view, but same fees.

Horrible customer service.

Many times we had trouble with the staff. To book rooms, to eat at their restaurant, and the staff gave our flowers to the wrong person staying at the hotel. Horrible staff and customer service. The rooms were hot! The AC did not work. About the only good thing about this hotel was the pool boy. He was very nice and handed out Ollie pops to people around the hot tub.

Crown Plaza Reputation

I booked here because of the Crown Plaza reputation from years back. This hotel was overpriced so poor value for money. The front desk staff was sloppy and not projecting a professional ambiance. We had dinner the night we arrived. We had breakfast in the AM before departing. The servers were either poorly trained or just didn't care. The mattress was quite uncomfortable. We travel a good deal and by comparison the hotel we stayed in on Aug 31st in Watkins Glen was only $100 more and it was 99% impeccable and a pleasure aster our experience with your property. I should be asking for some sort of refund considering there was nothing redeemable about our stay. Also, paying over $400 and you charge us $10 for parking? How petty.....
