I enjoyed spending time with family

I really feel that for the amount of money we as customers put in this resort should put a little more effort in. The floors in the activity center were coming up. They don’t have smart TV’s. The outside balcony had way too many spiders. The kids got really bored due to the lack of activities that were free. Back when I was younger they had more outdoor activities and it use to be an overall better experience. I just wish they would put more effort in or lower the price to match the effort given.

Dirty Room

I have already filled out 3 of these "surveys" for the same stay, this will be the last one I do. The scenery and outside patio were very nice, the landscaping was well maintained, the exterior was not the problem; the interior was. It looked like the room hadn't been dusted in 6 months, the furniture was falling apart, the counters were all cut up. The bathrooms were disgusting, we could easily hear every time another guest was using the plumbing, especially when the open power went out Thursday evening. At check out, no one asked us how our stay was, the nicest employee engagement we got was from Austin at check in; he seemed to be the only one that cared. The amenities didn't open until 11am- we had three kids with us during our stay, it would have been nice if it opened at least at 9, not 11.

Wonderful place

We really enjoyed our stay here. Tons of activities for the family to enjoy. The staff is super kind. We loved our villa and enjoyed the extra space it offered for our family of 4. We particularly enjoyed the pool that overlooks the lake. Saw a few magical sunsets from there. Something to note: we were there both during the weekend and week and the week hours of activities do not start until 11, by then we were already hot so we just headed to the pool. (Maybe they have different summer hours after school is out).

Staff was amazing

The staff answered all my questions and worked to resolve any issues efficiently and effectively. So nice all of them !!

Great room

Room was great. You will need a car if you do not like walking, they do not provide shuttle service to your rooms if you UBER or LYFT there. The room we got was over a mile away from the building. It was a relaxing experience however even with the minor inconvenience.

It was just great

I'll choose this place every time. It's not too far from home. Just grab you some groceries if you like to cook and GO. The balcony and the pits are just an extra bonus for us outside lovers. The indoor is also great! Choose IHG!

Great stay

It's was ok but the Mr Hunter need to understand when people have a problem try to service that problem that's all.............................. ... .. ......................................... .....

Large and Quiet Room

Large Rooms with Separate Bedroom, Has full kitchen and living area. Did not use property amenities but they looked nice from what I saw. Right by Lake Palestine and nested in trees. Nice getaway or quiet retreat

Great location and property

We loved this resort. From the size of the cabin to the many activities that are offered. Coffee at the activity center was great as was the pizza there. The food at the marina was also good.

Great stay

We visited during the 2024 total eclipse. We had made reservations at a place in Athens but our reservations were cancelled two weeks before the event. We were expecting out of town guests so we were in a bit of a panic. Being able to make last minute reservations at this lovely property saved our eclipse experience. It was even a bit cheaper than our Athens stay would have been. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, clean and spacious. The property itself is beautifully situated on Lake Palestine. We enjoyed visiting the Marina to sip a drink outdoors on the pier to watch the sunset. The grounds were well-kept and beautiful. Highly recommend.
