Fantastic Place to Escape!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Tahoe Ridge Resort with my family during spring break, and it was an amazing experience. It was our first time visiting the Lake Tahoe area, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The location is fantastic—quiet, peaceful, and offering breathtaking mountain views. From the moment we arrived, the experience was excellent. The receptionist, Tamara, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and she kindly provided us with a room upgrade thanks to my IHG membership (2 bedroom Vila). Rooms were very spacious and well-equipped. It had a full kitchen with everything needed for cooking, which allowed us to easily prepare our own breakfasts and dinners. This was extremely convenient for a family stay. At the top of the building, there is a barbecue area that was clean, well-maintained, and offered an amazing panoramic view of the mountains—perfect for relaxing evenings. The pool and hot tub were spotless, and we truly enjoyed them throughout the entire four nights of our stay. There are a few small supermarkets nearby, including a liquor store. However, I recommend stopping in Carson City beforehand, where you’ll find larger supermarkets to stock up on everything you might need. The gym was another highlight—it had a wide variety of machines and equipment, much better than what you usually find at most hotels. Additionally, the resort offers an indoor pickleball and volleyball court, which was a fun bonus. Overall, this is a very pleasant place to stay. We loved our experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Hotel is at great location. very pieceful. Lot of things to do at the resort. Highly recommend for the family trips

Skiing vacation

We selected the hotel since we are members of IHG and we were not disappointed. This was a nice property (older but well kept). The room was very comfortable and had all the items we needed. The location was great with great views.

Beautiful views and family fun

This resort offers beautiful views and is located near the Tahoe rim trail. We loved how many hot tubs were available. The staff are very friendly and the room very clean and modern. My 6 year old loved it.

Escape from the city life

Wonderful location for the family with endless outdoor activities. One of those places you would want to return.

Nice place but very poor response when needed

The location and newly renovated condo is really the only thing you could be positive about this stay.

A Great time

10/10! I traveled with my family and we all had a great time. I have a special needs child and they were very accommodating for his needs. The rooms have everything you'll need. Very comfortable and fun stay. Family friendly.
