A mid stay in beautiful Tahoe. No air conditioning
Tahoe is gorgeous. This is a large resort style property with many amenities for day activities. We enjoyed the pickleball and basketball courts. There is no air conditioning so the entries weekend was hot and stuffy. The stake air made it hard to sleep and even harder to relax. The carpets need cleaning. It felt like a lot of potential without enough modernization. The room was clean.

Disappointing Stay: Poor Service, Zero Elite Recog
Our experience at this property was highly frustrating. Check-in was incredibly slow; only one staff member was actually working while another sat idle nearby, ignoring the wait times. To make matters worse, we were placed directly next to an active construction site with absolutely no prior warning. Finally, despite holding IHG Platinum status—and seeing plenty of room availability online for the day—the staff completely ignored our request for a simple one-hour late checkout. The lack of basic hospitality and elite recognition means we won't be returning.

Well, this was an interesting experience
What an interesting trip! We lost power one day, the fire alarms came on on our floor another day and the elevation of the hotel is over 7,664 literally on top of a mountain. Opt for a room where the wind blows through your window instead of a room with a nice view since there is no air conditioning.
Yes, I recommend this property.

Wonderful time
We had a beautiful suite the staff was amazing. The only thing I wish is some kind of warning about altitude sickness..

Stunning Views
I love the location and the amenities each building had to offer. Very relaxing and a lot of fun stuff you can do without having to leave. The rooftop jacuzzi views of the mountains were spectacular. The swimming pool and jacuzzi location options throughout each building were convenient. Having pool tables, games and outdoor activities like mini golf, putting golf, driver area to practice swings and corn hole were all fun to do. There are also basketball and tennis courts available. I also loved that there were plenty of bbq grills throughout for cooking outdoors. It’s also great that there are shuttles that bring guests up and down to different buildings. Gym is great for those who love to workout. Would definitely come back again. A couple things I would love to see in the future is having a smarter tv in the room that would allow guests to sign into apps like Netflix, Hulu, peacock and Amazon so they can watch their favorite series and movies. Having a rice cooker in the rooms would also be convenient. Other than that I had a great experience.
Yes, I recommend this property.

Fun Stay!
Our visit was for a wedding at this location; traveling in from Arizona we found the front desk staff to be so friendly and helpful. Since we were with family and friends we asked for adjoining rooms, Tamara at the front desk was so helpful! Our rooms were absolutely wonderful with gorgeous views, although we never got to see some wildlife :( but that's OK, maybe next time. We had a great time, visited the bar and grill, had a couple of drinks and an early dinner when we arrived, food and drinks were great as well as the service. The only thing I would have liked, is a little later check out time, other than that great stay, great rooms and service. Definitely a do over!

Beautiful and quiet location
Beautiful location. Very quiet and close to Stateline and ski resorts. Far enough away to escape it all but close enough to restaurants and entertainment to have a great night / weekend
Yes, I recommend this property.

Fantastic Place to Escape!
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Tahoe Ridge Resort with my family during spring break, and it was an amazing experience. It was our first time visiting the Lake Tahoe area, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. The location is fantastic—quiet, peaceful, and offering breathtaking mountain views. From the moment we arrived, the experience was excellent. The receptionist, Tamara, was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and she kindly provided us with a room upgrade thanks to my IHG membership (2 bedroom Vila). Rooms were very spacious and well-equipped. It had a full kitchen with everything needed for cooking, which allowed us to easily prepare our own breakfasts and dinners. This was extremely convenient for a family stay. At the top of the building, there is a barbecue area that was clean, well-maintained, and offered an amazing panoramic view of the mountains—perfect for relaxing evenings. The pool and hot tub were spotless, and we truly enjoyed them throughout the entire four nights of our stay. There are a few small supermarkets nearby, including a liquor store. However, I recommend stopping in Carson City beforehand, where you’ll find larger supermarkets to stock up on everything you might need. The gym was another highlight—it had a wide variety of machines and equipment, much better than what you usually find at most hotels. Additionally, the resort offers an indoor pickleball and volleyball court, which was a fun bonus. Overall, this is a very pleasant place to stay. We loved our experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
