Place was nice and clean staff was great place was convent to the airport and local restaurants and the boardwalk and beaches

Great

Absolutely beautiful property. I already want to book another stay)) I was with my family there but I saw it’s a great place for being alone with books and your thoughts also. Very clean. Friendly people. Better coffee and more food choices would be great.

Smoking room

The area is pretty. We were unfortunate enough to get a room to somebody smoked in it. The pool was nice in the area was clean the front dust staff get a double thumbs up.

Pretty good

Nice resort but a lot of walking to get to pools. Shuttle runs most hours. Housekeeping and maintenance staff is excellent and friendly. Greeters are very stiff and not very friendly. Requiring $25 for a 2 hour early check-in is ridiculous.

Nice area

Hotel is in a nice area of the city. Short walk or shuttle ride to the beach. Beach house is a great place to hang out. Studio room is very small, but bed is very comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped and unit has washer/dryer (shared between two rooms). Room needs repair. Broken screen door, dirty trim at the bottom of the wall. We only stayed of couple nights so it was okay. Pool is great, lazy river is short but very enjoyable. Shuttle to the beach is on time and drivers are very friendly.

Great time at Myrtle Beach

Great Experience at Myrtle Beach ,only wish I could of spent more time at Holiday Day Inn, the front desk was very helpful and knowledgeable, the rooms were very clean

Nice

We had a great family vacation with my kids (ages 18,19,23,& 26) and myself (age 50). Everything was clean and lots of room for us all. Pools were nice and kept clean. Short walk or shuttle to beach. Short drive everywhere else.

Do not recommend

I would not recommend this resort if you are looking for a clean place to start. First, check in was supposed to be at 4 and the room wasn't ready until hours later. The rooms were super dirty and had bugs everywhere. I pulled out the pull out couch mattress and it was full of old food and crumbs. That room was not cleaned properly, especially since the room was not ready in time as they claim it was being “cleaned”. I normally don’t give a review but this is honestly my first bad experience I had at an IHG resort and I would not come back to this location specifically after all of these issues I encountered. I should have listened to all of the bad reviews that I saw before booking but they are absolutely right about the complaints they had.

Elevator on our unit was broken, had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. Was told had 2 queen beds in 1 bedroom but there was 1 only.

Not impressed

Pool and lazy river were dirty, you have to pay for most of the activities. Late check in(4pm) and early check out(10am) - tried requesting 30 additional minutes for a late checkout and they wanted to charge extra.
