Best Pools in Orlando area

This was our second visit. I love the lazy river and pools. I find your restaurants to be reasonably priced and the value for the room excellent. The kids enjoyed the pools and miniature golf. Large, clean room and friendly staff.

Beautiful resort!

We stayed here for a week in a villa and it was beautiful! Large villa with full kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's a bit of a drive to get to each pool which was unfortunate with small children. Next time we would ask to stay in the hotel rooms that are right next to the pool I think. River Island has the best food and best pool with a lazy river. Delicious dinner especially!

Great atmosphere helpful staff

Always enjoy staying here. Great atmosphere and lots of activities for adults and kids. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Comfort is their motto!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. They made relaxing a pleasure, and had all the comforts of home. I will definitely be returning to this resort.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

This was our 3rd stay at this resort. Our previous experiences were great. Sadly, we are very disappointed with our recent stay. We arrived around 10pm. The first room assigned to us was in a dark unlit area without parking. When we returned to request a change in villa, the check-in clerk was unfriendly and had an attitude. The second villa did not have a welcome mat. When we closed the door the cover for the door handle fell off. We called room service and they came to install it. When we unfolded the sofa bed it contained a dried blood stain and heavy dirt particles. The manager was sent to our room and the mattress was exchanged with the next door villa’s mattress. The second day of our stay, we woke up to a huge palmetto roach on the kitchen floor. On the second day we also rented two jet skis and one swan. Ten minutes into the swan ride, the paddle boat started taking in water with my two daughters in it! You can imagine how upset I was. The paddle boat was exchanged. Later that day, we headed to the Southern Magnolia. Everything was going great. Until we saw human feces floating in the pool. The pool was closed for an hour. My husband and I bought frozen non-alcoholic drinks in the S. Magnolia area. Unfortunately, I knocked one over. The attendant was visibly upset. I apologized numerous times. He didn’t even offer us a napkin. When we returned to the villa, small roaches roamed around the clean dishes in the kitchen. That night, we took our kids to the game room. We enjoyed the games, but at least five machines were not working. The hot tub in the Southern Magnolia area and lazy river were very pleasant. Needless to say, we are very disappointed. The staff lacked customer service and a connections with the guests. I’m grateful that our daughters were provided life jackets and they know how to swim (13 and 11 year olds). We were not harmed from swimming with human defecation. I’m extremely disappointed with our experience during our last stay at this resort and highly doubt we will ever return.

Labor day stay

The 2 bedroom condo was clean and comfortable. We stayed in the West Village area and enjoyed the kiddie pool and splash pad area very much. I was put out at the very heavy sales pitch to attend the Timeshare breakfast for 90 minutes. They actually escort you after you check in to the sales desk. It left a bad taste in my mouth.

Great Atmosphere For Children

WE had a great time. It was two grands, daughter, Son-in-law, wife and me. There was always something for the children to do. The scuttle was fantastic in getting us quickly to where we wanted to be. A few issues with accommodations, though. The paring knife's handle comes off when cutting. Kitchen cabinets plastic facing is peeling off, some drawers do not work properly. An older TV made it impossible to hook-up Wii to it with standard setup. WE will be re-visiting since we were not able to find the time to do everything possible during our four day stay. Next time it will be seven days with the family.

VERY DISGUSTED CUSTOMER

VERY UNHAPPY WITH ORANGE RESORT AND HOLIDAY INN CLUB, HAD MANY PROBLEMS AND NO ONE WANTED TO HELP US, WE HAD TWO TWO BEDROOM VILLAS, THERE WERE SIX PEOPLE, RESORT WAS NOT WHAT WAS PROMISED TALKED TO MANY OTHER GUESTS AND EVERYONE SAID RESORT HAS BEEN STEADLY GOING DOWN HILL, EVERY YEAR THEY TAKE SERVICES AWAY AND MAKE YOU PAY FOR THINGS THAT WERE INCLUDED, YOU COULD SEE THE RESORT WAS NOT MAINTAINED DIRTY SHORTAGE OF TOWELS AT THE POOL, SNACK STANDS CLOSED DOWN, NOT ENOUGH SHUTTLES TO GET YOU AROUND RESORT, WE HAD TO WAIT25 TO 30 MINUTES FOR SHUTTLE SERVICE, WE MISSED OUR APPOINTMENT FOR THE TOUR DUE TO SHUTTLE, BOTH COUPLES WERE PLANNING TO BUY, BUT AFTER TALKING TO OTHER GUESTS FOUND OUT RESORT WENT FROM 4 STAR TO 1 STAR RESORT VERY DISAPPOINTING VACATION DUE TO THE ORANGE RESORT, WILL NEVER COME BACK!!!!

5 star resort with all the anemities!! only downer?? sittin thru the orientation to buy time-shares , very pushy to the point i was ready to get up and walk out! would not take NO FOR AN ANSWER!! also all the extras cost money like tubes for the lazy river, and gratuity added on every service, when you go up to the cabana to get a drink, a tip should be optional!! overall great resort, would highly recomend this resort!! 2nd time there, a 3rd next year!

A REAL VACATION FEELING!

From the room, to the location, to the staff and the overall experience, we felt like we really came to a relaxing vacation spot. The staff was very nice and the villa we stayed in was just what I had in mind for it to look like. There is so much to do there that you don't even need to go to one of Orlando's theme parks if you don't want to. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. Very reasonable prices and overall a pleasurable stay!
