We had the most wonder time vacationing with our kids! The beds were so comfortable, the staff went above and beyond to enter and engage with guests, and the amenities were great! Our next visit is already booked, can’t wait to be back!

Frustrated

First, I was put off by the "do your part" Holiday Inn commercial on the TV regarding pool towels. This is a cheap tactic to save the resort time & money at the expense of the customer. I paid to stay here and I'm on vacation. It's not my social obligation "to do my part" when paying for a vacation stay. What will next year bring...do my part and wash the dishes at the restaurant after I pay to eat? Secondly, My unit had (4) registered guests and I paid for breakfast to be included in our stay. I received a $30 daily credit instead. $30 a day will not feed (4) people breakfast on property. This is deceptive. Third, you only allowed me (3) wrist bands and charged me $2 for a fourth. My unit had 4 registered guests...really? Lastly, and most frustrating, you force me to endure a sales pitch for a timeshare every time I stay even though I clearly say I'm not interested and just want my wristband/key to settle into my room after a long day of travel. I'm always told I MUST listen to the pitch before allowing me to have my keys/bands. I stayed at your Port Canaveral property the day before and didn't have any of these issues. I've stayed at Orange Lake three times and this will most likely be my last. It's sad. Orange Lake is a real nice property. Unfortunately, corporate greed wrapped in deception has taken over.

Absolutely loved our stay

Everything about this place was beautiful, from the rooms to the grounds 10/10 recommend. Will be returning

Week in Review

Free washer/dryer. Outside seating at Breezes had bad service. Ice cream shack closed. In-room internet poor. No additional input for TV. Good golfing. Good bingo at pool. Guard at entrance was snotty one time.

Great stay, no IHG benefits

Fantastic break. The other reviews tell you all you need to know. It’s a big great resort with plenty to do. We stopped 13 nights and had a relaxing time. But a few small niggles take off one star: - lazy river was too cold - other pools were heated fine - our room 2 bed villa didn’t match the pics on the IHG website - it was a bit dated in places - but was still good. TV a bit small - someone billed some F&B to our room somehow - took over a week for them to remove it Finally, don't expect any IHG benefits here (other than being able to use your points for the stay). No breakfast or late checkout offered for Diamond members

Vacation

Second stay at this resort.The first was excellent but this one was not.

Nice stay but can't get reciept.

Stay was good, room floor was dirty(black feet) but trying to get my hotel bill is an adventure. Tried 3 different days to get it and still no success. Today I was constantly transferred and call dropped. They say they send it but nothing arrives in my inbox or junk folder. Very frustrating that something so simple can be so complicated. It is like they don't want you to see what you have been charged during your stay. Guess I should have got a copy before I left.

Poor management

Request late checkout which is benefit of Platinum Elite.Patrick states it is a time share property and refused request with no further conversation.You”re just a number at this property which not only has gone down consistently every year, but has management decisions with no thought process of review in making decisions of loyal guest request.

Check-in staff have ruined it!!

Very comfortable rooms in a great location BUT be very careful when you book! The check in staff are awful and so is leadership. Whatever you ask for at booking is not honored at check in and zero accountability!! Will not stay again!!!

Welcoming and relaxing perfect getaway

My stay at Holiday Inn Club Vacations at Orange Lake Resort was nothing short of amazing. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt welcoming and relaxing, perfect for a getaway. The resort is huge and has so much to offer. The pools were one of my favorite parts—clean, spacious, and great for both relaxing and having fun. The lazy river and water park area really made it feel like a true vacation spot. There were also plenty of activities to keep busy, from golf courses to entertainment for families. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-maintained, with enough space to feel right at home. I especially liked having a full kitchen area, which made things convenient during the stay. The staff throughout the resort were friendly, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or assist when needed. Another highlight was the location. It’s close to major attractions, shopping, and dining, which made it easy to explore the area while still enjoying the peaceful resort vibe. Overall, this resort delivers a perfect balance of relaxation and fun. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great vacation spot, whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with family. I’m already looking forward to going back!
