Good family trip

Great resort for a family trip, we enjoyed our time here and would highly recommend this resort. It has everything you need on-site and close to a bunch of restaurants if you decide to go offsite to eat as a family.

Done with Orange Lake

Stop trying to fool people into thinking the person checking them in can't "activate their room keys" themselves...they can. I don't need a ex-used car salesman to activate my room key while trying to offer me $40 in resort cash so I'll sign up for a timeshare presentation. I'm on vacation. Stop with the desperate sales pitch...it's a horrible way to start a vacation. This was my 3rd and last stay at Orange Lake.

Not worth it

Poor attention to guest needs. Very disappointing lack of interest or attention in special needs families.

GREAT RESORT!!

Had an awesome time going here!! My only complaint was the 20ish dollar refillable soda cup that I bought the first day that I thought I was going to enjoy all week. 1st day was awesome, second day there was no ice in the machines, and the rest of the week every machine I went to didn’t work. So buyer beware on buying that cup.

Its been better. But these guys seem to never want to send me my bill so I can see itemized purchase. Amount for the room plus deposit. 2nd year in a row.

Roaches and Do Not Honor Elite Members

I have been coming to Orange Lake Resort since I was 13 years old (I’m 40 now) and I have NEVER experienced anything as unacceptable as my most recent stay. As a Platinum elite member, I expected the basic benefits that come with that status. Instead, I was flat-out denied every single one of them. Not even a bottle of water or a breakfast pass. The young manager on duty couldn’t have cared less. The room itself was disgusting. The bathtub had putty smeared in it that I had to clean out myself. It took staff HOURS to respond to service calls. Our room keys stopped working within hours of arrival, so by that night we were locked out and dealing with that mess too. And then the worst part: roaches. Not one. Not two. THREE huge roaches crawling out of the walls. I had eight guests with me, including elderly family members, and I was absolutely embarrassed hearing people scream while trying to kill roaches in what was supposed to be a “resort.” Management’s response? Lip service. “I’m so sorry this is happening to you.” But no action. No compensation. No attempt to make things right. Nothing to acknowledge how unacceptable this was. After decades of loyalty, this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had at Orange Lake. Completely unacceptable and deeply disappointing.

Poolside Paradise & Perfect Vibes at Orange Lake

Had such an amazing stay at Orange Lake Resort—definitely one for the books! ️ From the moment we arrived, everything was smooth and welcoming. Huge shoutout to Elise at check-in—she made the process quick, easy, and set the tone for a great stay right from the start! The rooms were super clean, smelled fresh, and you can really tell they’ve been recently remodeled—modern, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a full day in the sun. Now let’s talk about the pool scene… because WOW. River Island is where it’s at! We rented a cabana, and while it might have cost us a small fortune (pretty sure I left a kidney behind ), it was totally worth it for the comfort, shade, and vibes. Zero regrets… okay maybe just a tiny one when I saw my bank account And Amber at the main pool bar—she was EVERYTHING! Fun, friendly, and made the best drinks. Her energy just added to the whole experience and kept the good vibes going all day long. We also checked out the Legends Golf Course, and it did not disappoint! The course was beautiful and well-kept, and Kevin in the pro shop was awesome—super fun, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Between the great service, beautiful grounds, awesome pools, golf, and updated rooms, this place is a must-stay. Already thinking about our next trip back!

great place for the family to vacation! Very close to all attractions and the kids love the pools.
