The Good: The room was a decent size and included a full kitchen, which could be convenient for longer stays, though we didn’t use it. The general layout was comfortable enough. The arcade was a nice bonus for kids and helped fill some downtime, though it’s definitely overpriced. The Bad: Cleanliness was a major issue. When we opened the sofa bed, we found pubic hair on the sheets, and there was no blanket provided, we had to call and request one. At the pool, there were no towels available. Only after asking were we told they’re in the closet in your room, not helpful once you’re already wet. Soundproofing was poor. Conversations outside your door sound like they’re inside your room. As a Platinum Elite IHG member, there was zero recognition: no bottled water, no welcome amenity, not even a greeting. IHG advertises perks for elite members, but none were provided. The water slides only operate from 10 AM to 7 PM. If you’re staying just one night, that means you can only use them from 4 PM to 7 PM on the day you arrive. You can stay after check-out to use the pool, but there’s no facility to shower or change afterward. Also disappointing: the market, bar, and café all close at 8 PM, which is inconvenient in a vacation setting. And despite 100+ degree heat, there are no water stations or drinks available by the pools, a basic amenity that’s surprisingly absent. Bottom Line: Aside from the room size and arcade, the experience left a lot to be desired. Poor cleanliness, early amenity hours, lack of elite recognition, and missing basics like poolside water or towels make this resort feel more frustrating than fun. Not likely to return unless things change.

Charged for vouchers used

Was given 2 $15 vouchers for breakfast and was charged for my order . Nobody seemed to k ow how to fix it . Was suppose to get sliced by management when they got there , didn’t happen

Great property.

Fantastic property. Good location, comfy, nice pool areas, nice activity center for kids. Only downside was super thin walls between us and the next room. You could hear every word the other room was saying just like they were in your own room.

Great place

Great facility, pools and pool area very clean. The buildings all have easy access to pool and main buildings. Activity center well maintained and the activities director very engaged. A great vacation spot for all ages!

No EV station

Great location with outstanding staff. Two major problems; 1 being the fact that they have 8 total pools and many other amenities, but no EV Charging STATION!! When inquiring about these at Check In the desk manager STATED. “No one ever asks for them, but the food and beverage staff would argue that point. Cmon my daughter does the books for 6 hotels and they are constantly offering to install these for free! 2. HI Club Vacas has been on me to tour the facilities on a discounted package. I agreed to book this here, but would not let me stay at the resort under the package! Cmon I was already there and just wanted a perk for touring the place, but was told they could not do this. WOW what a way to treat your Impressive people. Everyone else was happy and friendly, but I got the one less than happy guyGet out the map and help us out. help me find a station. A maintenance man at another Holiday Inn went out of his way to help us Great place, but drive a gas car and avoid the front desk at night as much as poss

Experience

Miss Cooper of Activities is the best. She made sure we are heard and seen. She like entertaining and making sure the kids around are safe. She have a wonderful and magical way to make us feel welcome.

Amazing stays for families.

Everything was perfect I couldn't have asked for more. We stayed in a 2 room villa and was completely taken back by this location. Everything was great. I did get a drink from the cabana in which after being asked and confirming there's no orange in it halfway through the drink it had a dehydrated orange which im allergic. The drink had no flavor either it was really stale. But other than that the villa was massive and nice. Staff was great checking in via text I just loved it, my kids loved it.

The room is amazing!! The food is atrocious we've got lunch and dinner and both were huge wastes of money. The bar staff needs to stop flirting with hotel guests. I went alone on one occasion my hand was repeatedly touched and rubbed. I was so uncomfortable I sent my husband the second time for dinner and he was called baby, babe and honey which made him uncomfortable as well. Not to mention the food is overpriced and flavorless.

Relax at Holiday Inn Vacation Rentals

The room was clean. Staff was friendly. Amenities were wonderful for families.

Excellent place to get away in Scottsdale

WOW! Excellent place to stay. Rooms were fantastic. Pools were perfect. My only issue was the check-in process. You get checked in at one counter and then sent to another counter where you are given the full court press on vacation club before getting your room key. BUT, it was not overly pushy and immediately dropped the issue once i said i was not interested and gave me my keys.
