Irritating to say the least

We had to split our stay with IHG and HICV due to no availability on the HICV owners site. I requested to stay in the same room at check in so we were not room hopping, Christine at the front desk assured us that it would be okay since we were booked in a 2 bedroom for the entire week. We get put in room 107 with barely a view of the ocean and a tiny deck. Fast forward to Thursday, the day before we leave and our key cards stop working for the second time this week. Lo and behold we were checked out of our room with no notice at 12:30 when we came back from the pool. I went to the front desk and sure enough we have to switch rooms because of a communication breakdown. Apparently I paid extra to stay our last night in a signature room. I requested to just stay in our room 107 for the last night and give the signature room to whoever was getting 107, my lose their gain. Christine tells me that she can't do that and we have move rooms. So, we pack up and move to the signature only to be disappointed once again because the view from this room is even worse than room 107. You pay more and can't see the ocean at all from room 131. Very irritating after spending 80k to be an owner. I'm not a complainer and this is my first negative review ever given. I usually just won't review but this week hit just a little different.

Birthday Stay

Everything about this resort was great. Clean and just overall a great stay. I would recommend this to anyone going to the beach. Close to the boardwalk attractions and shops.

Amazing

We had a amazing stay. We were a family of five with three children under the age of three. The room was very spacious and comfortable and clean. The view from our room was spectacular.

Girls trip

6 girlfriends enjoyed an amazing fun time at this resort! The 2 bedroom villa was spacious and lovely. Amenities were great. Very friendly staff and service. We had a wonderful time and will be back

You have to stay at this MB resort!!!

We had the best time here!!! The staff was phenomenal and the room was fabulous and the view spectacle!! The market made the best lattes and breakfast and Elliott made the best drinks at the bar!!! The hot tubs and pools were perfect and the beach access was so convenient!!! Have fun, cause we sure did!!!

The place to stay

This place is amazing. My family and I decided we will be doing a yearly vacation here once a year. Very updated, clean, family friendly. You don't even have to leave the place if you do not want to. Two onsite dining, pools, hot tubs, beach access. There is even a restaurant right by the place to eat, which was also very good.

Nice Resort, poorly managed

The hotel has potential for 5 star but but is managed poorly. I booked 2 rooms 5 months in advance and were given rooms on opposite sides of the resort on different floors, this is a management issue and poor customer service. The checkin Staff, Bobbi and James were pleasant but unable to resolve the issue. The pool was very warm and uncomfortable. Very limited food options and the service was slow. Overall staff not very visible and the don't have enough people to service the pool area or the customer. One of the bar tenders was very rude to customers and hurt several people's feelings. They just walked away. The staff opened the pool were outstanding. They were 5 star.The rooms were nice but they only give you enough chairs to comfortable seat 3. There are 4 additional stools but with no backs. If I owned this resort I would hire knew management. I could easily make this a five star resort. All the amenities are here, large pool, music, nice beach, good hours. Great parking but leaking in the areas I mentioned above. The wrist bands to unlock your door a nice feature. I really came hear to buy but changed my mind after given rooms in separate locations. That told me that there were some issues. This would not happen at a Hilton or marriott. I thought IHG were trying to compete, This brand new beautiful hotel missed the mark.

New Awesome place with beautiful decor. Everything is great. Fantastic views of the ocean. The pool and the bar area is amazing. The staff was amazing very friendly and knowledgeable. The amenities from the bar and grill to the morning grill for coffee was amazing
