Fantastic recreation and wonderful service.

During my stay at Holiday Inn Club Vacations Mount Ascutney Resort, I found the staff to be extremely kind and helpful, and I had a very comfortable stay. The resort rooms and villas are spacious, comfortable, and provide well appointed kitchens. There is a small market in the lobby for any forgotten essentials and a few kitchen staples and snacks. The recreational opportunities indoor and outdoors are endless! I particularly enjoy the fact that there are fitness classes and outdoor guided walks as well as independent use of the fitness facilities. It is a wonderful trip with families, as there are nightly children's movies shown in a small theater, as well as game room for evening entertainment. The resort is within easy driving distance of larger, active ski mountains (closest to Okemo). This was my fifth trip to this resort and I look forward to returning again. It offers diverse activities year-round.

Great hotel for Okemo ski trip

while it is a 35 min drive from Okemo, this was a very good value, high quality 3 bdrm condo for our ski trip with friends. The rooms are spacious, clean ,

Comfortable retreat

Our family spent 2 nights at this resort. The staff was friendly, the suite was spacious, well-supplied, and comfortable. The entertainment areas of this resort really contributed to our overall experience. We enjoyed the theater, the game room, the arcade, and the fitness center with heated pool. On the Thursday night of our stay, I inquired about a fire in the fireplace in the lobby. Without question I was informed that "we have a fire in the fireplace on any evening that a guest requests it." Within 15 minutes there was a fire in the fire place. This was a relaxing 2-night stay for our family.

Very enjoyable 5 night stay!

My wife and I spent the 2016 Christmas Holiday at the Resort and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Staff were very hospitable and helpful throughout, the suite was large and comfortable, bed was super. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. We would definitely return, considering it very good value for the money.

vermont get away

The entire experience at Mount Ascutney was more than we expected. The entire complex was very clean and ample space for our family. We found skiing and outdoor activities close by and there were more great restaurants in the area than we could visit. We will have to go back.

Nice unit but no cell service or food

The property is quite nice but the lack of cell service and a functioning restaurant is inconvenient. The closest town is five miles away which is fine if you're prepared for the lack of services at the resort. Also, the bed in the one bedroom suite is a queen which seemed odd. The fitness center looks shabby but is actually okay inside though the roof of the pool could use some upgrading.

Not the quietest property....

This is a resort hotel, so many active guests of all ages. If you're looking for serenity, this is not an ideal spot. The property wasn't built to manage noise. For example, there is a thin door between your room and the guests next door, which means you hear everything. You'll also be well aware of the guests in the room above you. I was lucky in that the guests staying there that weekend were courteous, but we all know that this isn't always the case. I would have been miserable if I had really noisy guests next door or upstairs. The staff are great and the rooms are clean. As long as you're not looking for a really quiet spot, it's a nice place to stay.
