Not anywhere as good as advertised.

There is no elevator to the 2nd floor in the building we were in, and you have to carry your luggage up multiple flights of stairs. There is no cell phone coverage in the building, and you have to drive to the main building lobby to get cell phone coverage to make calls, or send and receive texts. The restaurant on sight was not open on Tuesday and Wednesday when we were there. When I made the reservation, I inquired about the availability of breakfast, and was told that although there was not any breakfast available, you could go to the restaurant for around $5 or so and get breakfast. But, upon arrival, we learned that the restaurant does not even open for breakfast. We did not bring any food because we were told there was breakfast and dinner available on site. The blow dryer would not stay in the cradle on the wall due to broken latches that hold it and is subject to falling into the bathroom sink which was an electrical hazard. Bath tub was slimy, like there was something used to clean it that was not rinsed away. There was a dirty wash cloth in the bath tub. The lighting in the bathroom is inadequate for a woman to put on make-up, and since that is the only place there is a mirror in the unit, it is hard to dress and look at how you look. There were items still in the dish washer. There was no ice in the freezer, just 2 empty trays. The bath room was very very small and cramped, with no room to put toiletries. There is only one mirror in the entire unit, and it is an approx.. 20” X 36” over the bathroom sink. There was garbage bags stacked up in the entry of the building when we arrived the night of Oct. 11th and were again there when we left.

No, I do not recommend this property.

Location, Location, Location

This property is the definition of resort. Beautiful spacious, decorated room with full kitchen. I could see spending an entire week relaxing and enjoying the area.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Beautiful autumn visit

Beautiful location at the base of a ski mountain. Originally only planned to stay one night but heather at the front desk was able to get us another night at a great price and cancel our other hotel so we wouldnt be double charged. Every evening able to enjoy relaxing by the fire pit with a glass of wine. Great yoga class in the morning with linda at the recreation center! Would come back with our children as there is plenty of room and a kitchen too.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Complete, sizable accommodations

We were very impressed with the politeness and professionalism of the staff and the size and outfitting of the condo. The location is also convenient for day trips to Woodstock. Only suggestion is brighter lights in the bathrooms.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Friendly helpful staff throughout the resort.

Great location and reasonably priced. The staff was eager to accommodate and help us find local attractions and places to eat.

Very spacious unit.

We had a 3 bedroom 3 bath unit. It was very spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms were small. The restaurant was not open the night we were there so we had to drive to a eat. Great food worth the drive. The resort is at a ski resort and it was very quiet in September. Wish we could have stayed there more days, very relaxing. Furnishing and decor was very nice.

Yes, I recommend this property.

Nasty, horrible Hotel

I booked and stayed with the hopes of a relaxing weekend in Vermont. The staff was poorly trained, unprofessional, inadequately prepared, and downright awful. They had difficulty with the simplest request or direction and often did not accomplish the task asked of them... that's when you get the to answer the phone! They let the front desk phone ring and ring. The road to our building was dirt and not lit. Not safe at all. The door to the main building was unlocked, also not safe. Our villa had not been properly cleaned nor stocked; we were told housekeeping during our stay was not an option. The building of our villa had multiple floors and no elevator... another nice surprise late at night. The room was excessively noisy late into the evening with no action taken by the staff. The room smelled "musty" with a strong smell of air freshener to hide the odor. The resort had really no decent scheduled activities for guests and you were "on your own" if you wanted to find things to do. Of course they steer you towards their dining room which was not special or memorable at all - it is as if they took a small conference room and decided to turn it into a dining room for guests. Throw some paint and decorations and hope for the best! There was no cell phone service at all! The internet rarely worked and, when it did, it was so slow. So painfully slow. The staff managed to mess up our departure day so we had housekeeping pounding on our door at 7a before our day of departure! I did ask for a late check out for when we did depart and was told "no." This resort does not recognize Platinum Elite Status or value their members as they should. No mention of it. No amenity points. Nothing. Just a total mess. Well that's after the front desk staff could be located (he was out back smoking per the engineering staff who were on covering front desk, dressed like common day laborers and nothing like a first impression should be.). When the desk staff did show up, smelling of smoke, he finally checked us in as though it was a bother. The cable TV rarely worked as did the a/c. Called to have that addressed but it went to voicemail - yes folks, a front desk that has voice mail! How nice. Balcony provided a great view... of a burned down, partially collapsed building. How romantic. Room had bugs... lots of bugs. They do not clean well. So be warned. Bring Raid because they won't fix it. The bill was also incorrect. The wrong amount had been charged despite confirming multiple times over with the staff. If you are lucky enough to actually reach the person they call front office "manager" be warned. She is not only inept but also one of the rudest people I have ever met at any hotel. She is nasty, degrading, and blames the guest!!!! She does know her own rules, doesn't return phone calls, and when she does she hangs up the phone when she doesn't agree with you! Horrific manager at their finest everyone. Someone with a job about people who cannot deal with people. Avoid it at all costs. It's a waste of time, money, and sanity. This is horrific and I have no doubt it will be shut down soon. It's just nasty. You have been warned. Avoid it or waste your vacation!

No, I do not recommend this property.

Backwoods bedtime at 9pm!

Large, modern, sprawling mountain resort look quite welcoming. Rooms, arranged in separate accommodation blocks are clean and pleasant, if a bit noisy due to thin walls. Major complaint is that the bar and restaurant closes at 9pm, and with no town within walking distance, entertainment options were extremely limited. Although there was an upcoming mountain biking event and people were checking in the resort was dead and lifeless. Had we known the above in advance we certainly would not have paid the rate we did, which was way overpriced. We thought, "Holiday Inn, it must be good" but were sadly mistaken......

No, I do not recommend this property.

Horrible hotel, just horrible

The worst hotel in 15 years with Holiday Inn. Stay anywhere but here.

Beautiful room and views

Extremely nice accomodations, super clean and spacious with every little detail attended to. The staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful; the bar/restaurant was fantastic as were the bartender and servers. Even the coffee in the room was great. Would definitely stay there again.

Yes, I recommend this property.
