What's happened to my preferred Hotel chain

My experience started on arrival at the facility, guest services. I booked two rooms for a four night 5 days stay. The accommodations were paid for in advance more than six months prior to arrival. Yet, my two rooms were four buildings apart. I was told by a guest services front desk manager that was the best they could do because the property was sold out. After the vigorous protest on my part, they miraculously found a vacant room in the same building next to one room previously assigned to me. I was told that I was in a villa and would be very comfortable. It would be kind to call this a villa. The entry door nearly hits the bed when walking to the room. The room has no dresser no put your clothes into. Let us get back to the sold-out comments from the front desk manager. We were downtown to watch Monday Night Football and return after midnight. The complex has six buildings with park spaces in front of each building. We counted a total of 8 vehicles parked at the complex. Housekeeping: I was aware that housekeeping would not be servicing the rooms daily. However, after 4 days and 3 nights I called and asked for clean towels and for the trash to be emptied. I was told that housekeeping would stop by and take care of the minor request and at the same time, I was told to take the trash myself to the dumpster at the end the complex and empty the trash. I asked sarcastically if she wanted my SSN so that I could be properly compensated. Really!!! I have been coming to this property for a long time and something has changed and it isn't good.

Fall weekend with friebds

Celebrated our 40th anniversary with friends. Great place, area and facility to do a shory or extended stay get away.

Comfortable, Clean, Roomy

This is the 4th time staying at the resort. I prefer this location to other alternatives offered. Very roomy, comfortable.

Love staying here

Clean, well kept, spacious. Bed was very comfortable and adjusting the room temperature was very user friendly. I plan on staying there again.

Nice room. the room was very clean. I liked having a safe in the room. Easy to get shuttle service.

The main Lodge was great - room not so much

I was very discouraged when opening the door and walking into the bedroom. That also was the main door and it only had one lock on it. I didn't feel safe and put something in front of the door.

Terrible terrible place

The only dirty Holiday Inn facility I have used. Will not recommend to any person I know. I am surprised this place even exists. Wow.

Great room and great location

Everything exceeded my expectations except one thing. At check in only one half of the 2 bedroom villa was ready. It was 4 hours before the other room was ready. The first room was ready before posted check-in and the second was after.
