Great Place To Stay
Great place for a family to stay. Their 2 bedroom 2 bathroom unit was perfect for our family. The kitchen is furnished with everything you need to even cook if you want to. Coffee was provided for one day so bring your own but other than that dishwashing detergent, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent and trash bags are supplied. There are even pool towels in the hall closet for your use at the pool. There is a Walmart nearby for all your shopping needs and many restaurants just a short drive away. Colonial Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Water Country are not far away. We thought this was a nice location for our stay of 5 days. The property is well keep and they have a quiet time of 10 pm to 8 am. There were lots of families staying here and my grandson enjoyed playing in the pool with all the other kids. The pool is perfectly adequate for swimming and splashing around in after a long day at the attractions of Williamsburg.

Great Room
We found this concept to be great for value! Having a kitchen and laundry in suite was of high importance for us at that point in our trip. We were impressed with the grounds and pool. Many families seemed to be enjoying themselves during our stay. They are close to town and many different restaurants and shopping places but yet removed enough that it seems secluded and quiet.

Comfortable bed, pleasing decor, pleasant staff
Resort just opened a few months ago so limited services. No food service on property, activities center still under construction, small pool. Sales and presentation center if fully operational though! Cable TV in room poor, hard to view TV in master bedroom with snowy picture. Whirlpool tub breaker tripped, unusual problems for a newly constructed unit. Room was exceptionally clean with pleasing décor. Property was clean, have to drive a bit from the property to find restaurants. Definitely not Orange Lake, but similar quality once construction is completed and resort is fully up and running. Staff pleasant and helpful.

Great hideaway in Williamsburg
We enjoyed the stay very much. My family of four had plenty of room and all the comforts of home in the suites. I would stay again when returning to Williamsburg.

Wonderful stay
We had a 2 bedroom villa. Loved the extra space since we were traveling with our grandchildren. Much better than hotel accommodations. 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen, walkout balcony, and washer/dryer unit made this feel like home. I did not want to leave and can't wait to come back. Very nice stay.

Poor Customer Service
I had the worst experience on my arrival to the resort. The customer service person only became helpful when she saw me getting frustrated with her lack of assistance. Customer service is in urgent need of fixing.

Good sleep, lots of room, don't like the timeshare upsale
lots of room and easy access to buildings. bedding was very comfortable - even the pull-out sofa. Don't like the pressure at check-in to participate in a "presentation" for free goodies. Web needs to be clear this is a member community and there will be the opportunity to join a club so visitors will be prepared.
Yes, I recommend this property.

Cleaning Fee is Ridiculous!
I booked the Holiday Inn Resort at the non timeshare rate because we have a timeshare elsewhere and i didn't feel like having the hassle of cleaning while i was there. When i asked the hotel if someone was coming to clean our room they stated that its an $119 fee/day for cleaning. If you were to go to another hotel or resort and stay multiple days your room is cleaning daily for no additional fee. I totally understand the charge if i came to view a presentation or was utilizing a timeshare rate but we paid the regular hotel rate. If you are paying the standard rate then the room should be cleaned daily just as it would at other Holiday Inns and hotels. I came to VA to relax because i was really stressed and recently lost my father. Cleaning bathtubs and making beds and etc isn't an issue for me at all, but for this particular trip cleaning just wasn't part of my ideal vacation or my idea of relaxing.

Great Service
Enjoyed the stay.. The two bed suite was clean, spacious and comfortable; and the kitchenette was fully equipped. We stayed here last year and also enjoyed the stay. However, the resort needs to resume some of the children activities that were available last year, enlarge the pool and reinstate the pool bar. Kim, Stacey, Adam and the maintenance staff was so polite, accommodating and helpful. After returning home, we noticed that we left some packages in the room. We called the resort and Adam FedXed them the next day. Thanks Adam.
