Annual Trip
I have visiting this resort approximately 10 times, including the past three years. I enjoy this resort and what it has to offer. The good: • Number of water attractions (pools, lazy rivers, water slides) • Showed up at 11:30 AM and was able to get into the room by 1:30 PM • Got the building which I requested when making my reservation • Water slide area staff much more attentive than last year • Not as far away from the beach as people state on these reviews. They offer continuous shuttle service for those not wishing to walk. • New furnishings, walls painted, and flooring along with a newly remodeled elevator in our building. The bad: • Deteriorating condition of the wooden floor planks on the bridge to the beach (area near the shower) • Lack of visible on-site security guards monitoring the property during the day • One day the water slide staff instigated horseplay on the slides after the slides closed for the day • The pools and the surrounding grounds are not cleaned. If I had a dollar for every leaf, twig, or stick I removed from a pool I would easily have received one free night. One morning I saw a woman cleaning the area around the newer lazy river with a leaf blower with all the debris ending up in the lazy river. Large amount of sand on the bottom of the pool at the pool nearest the beach. • The fact that you need to visit with the salespeople to receive your parking passes. I have no interest in the sales pitch, near have attended a presentation and never will attend a presentation. This is always the worst part of the trip! • There are locks on numerous gates throughout the entire resort (beach building and pools across the street) that have not worked since at least 7/2017. • There was a cookie and a broken plastic utensil on the floor of the stairwell in the F building (stairwell closest to the pool) that was not removed during our stay. Although I’m not an “owner” I know that the “owners” pay maintenance fees on a yearly basis. Where do these maintenance fees go? Most of my “bad” comments were maintenance related! I’m hoping that someone reads my comments and accepts both the “good” and the “bad” and acts upon the bad. Hopefully I don't receive the typical canned response with my review comments ignored. Thank you for your time and look forward to returning here next year!

Annual Trip
I have visiting this resort approximately 10 times, including the past three years. I enjoy this resort and what it has to offer, but there are a few alarming trends I have noticed over the past two years. In terms of good, there are a number of water attractions (pools, lazy rivers, water slides) to occupy our time when not on the beach. Also it is appreciated that in our building (F building) there were investments made to remodel the elevator, refurnish the rooms, paint the walls, and redo the flooring. Also your water slide crew led by Mary were very friendly. I do want to also state several concerns I have regarding this property (concerns that have now been experienced both this year AND last year). During our entire 8 day/8 night stay I did not see a single security guard on this property. When your water slides closed the one day, your water slide employees proceeded to put two of the guests on the bottom of the slides to play. This is dangerous! After the employees left for the day these children along with several other children continued to play on these water slides and also started to climb up the slides! It took approximately 15 minutes for an employee to reprimand the children. This is one reason why you need staff constantly monitoring the property!! The locks on the doors surrounding the older pools and the beach club property (both the entrance from the drop off area and the bridge to the beach) are broken and need to be replaced! I'm hoping that someone actually reads this and acts! These locks on a number of these doors have been broken since at least the summer of 2017! There is no effort made to clean and maintain the areas around the pools and the pools. If I had a dollar for every time I removed a stick, twig, or leaf from a pool or lazy river I would have been able to pay for one night of my stay easily! The only time I saw someone cleaning the areas near the pool, the woman was using a leaf blower that was blowing the leaves and sticks into the lazy river! Also, there is an excessive amount of sand in the pool at the "beach club"! The bridge connecting the "beach club" to the beach is in poor condition. There were several of the wooden planks that were loose. Finally, can we get our parking passes from the employee at the front desk when we check in and not need to go see a salesperson to get the parking pass! I have no interest in sitting through your presentation. I have never sat through a presentation and never will! The pressure these salespeople show towards us is unappreciated. No means no! If you ever start breaking ground on those units across the street that are oceanfront that you promised 15 years ago then we'll talk! For those who complain about the walk to/from the beach it is not bad. This is a walk that I make 3-4 times a day. If the walk is a concern request a building that is closer (my building requests have always been accommodated) or take the shuttle. I noticed days where two shuttles were running simultaneously. We arrived on-site shortly after 11:30 am and our room was ready by 1:30 pm, thank you! I enjoy staying here, but if I don't see improvements to the grounds as I discussed above I may need to start looking elsewhere. I am not an "owner" of this property, but I know for a fact that you charge the "owners" maintenance fees every year. If you are not performing maintenance on this property then where are these maintenance fees going? Thank you for your attention to addressing these concerns and making this a truly great place to stay! See you next year!
Yes, I recommend this property.

Family Vacation
Disappointed with overall experience at hotel. Large dead bug in room when we first walked in and also saw live ones during stay. Hotel put hold on funds in bank account and has taken days to be released. Even though entire stay was paid for at check in. Property is not oceanfront, pictures are very misleading and so is pin drop on google maps

Family Vacation
The Good: - Lots of pool options. - Clean facility - Beach Access across the street The Bad: - No restaurant Options (its a resort) - Reward Rooms were small and cramped - Time share deal at the beginning is annoying - No towel service - No upgrades or perks for being a spire member - The security gate never worked right - Room was old and worn
