Short stay

I have stayed here twice, both times was only for one night each time, I found the rooms to be very comfortable and would recommend to anyone. I plan to stay here again and would like to make the stay longer so i could enjoy all the resort has to offer. I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful.

Great Place!

We stayed at this resort for a short, one-night stay. We really liked it. The only negatives I have are the hot water in the master bath tub was non-existent and the walls are super, super thin. You can carry on conversations through the walls. It was kind of weird. That said, I'd stay here again. At night, the property was quiet, which was nice. We really liked it.

Has potential to be a lot of fun

They will try a rope you into a time share in service. If you havent been to one of those they dont care how far you drove to get there or how tired you are, and its high pressure so beware. It was a VERY rocky start for us but we made the best of it. We may go back in the summer but it better be close to a perfect stay.

Did not live up to expectations

We decided to spend the night here for my daughters bday party. We rented two villas and found the rooms to be nice. However, the indoor pool, which was the main reason we selected this hotel was out of order. This was the primary reason my daughter wanted this resort so that she could swim with her friends. We spoke with another visitor and they informed us that while they come frequently the indoor pool hadn’t work the last several visits. Inside the community center we were redirected to an outside pool that said it was out of service. When questioning management we were told to remove the sign and us the pool. The next morning at 9am we revisited the pool and removed the out of order sign as we did the last night when a rude security guard decided he had nothing better to do than to kick me and the girls out of the area sighting that pool hours are from 10am to 10pm. I explained that the room said common areas were open 8am-10pm and that I assumed this was a common area. He then said we ignored the sign which I explained was there yesterday and we were told to ignore, which he didn’t believe. In addition, to our pool issues the whole place was infested with spiders. This includes our room as a killed a spider just before bed and woke up to several bites the next morning. Spiders were also found at the pool and above our door going into our room. The changing room at the pool was unsanitary in that it smelled like a boy’s locker room and sweaty feet. I really wanted to enjoy this place and bring family back this summer but at this point I don’t think I can return or recommend a place that does not deliver as advertised.

Don’t waste your money or rewards

No indoor pool as advertised. Rude staff. Lots and lots of spiders.

Needs a lot of improvement

I believe the stay experience can be improved once front desk and house keeping associates get more training.

Don't get fooled by name "Resort"

I booked here for reasonable rate in "resort" category, but this hotel was a very big disappointment. It doesn't qualify for any more than "motel". I have no clue, how this was rated "resort" by IHG. Broken building doors, non-functional internet & bathrooms and lack of amenities doesn't qualify this as any IHG facility. No recognition for IHG Platinum members. Didn't even have different desk for IHG elite check-in. I must admit, staff was very nice at front desk though, of course the problems were not in their hands to be resolved. very big disappointment overall.
