Unsanitary

One of the rooms was infested with bedbugs. My daughter was bitten severely. Unsanitary conditions at best. Avoid this location if at all possible. Otherwise check the bedding, under the bedding before laying down for the night. Keep your things off of the ground to avoid the bedbugs from crawling into your things.

Excellent value for longer stays

With the full kitchen to cook your own meals and the separate bedrooms and plenty of space it is easy to relax and enjoy. We saved more than the cost difference of the room by not having to eat out for every meal. This makes a great value compared to a regular hotel where you would have to be eating out the entire time and tripping over each other constantly.

Great value and great for family

We were in town for an anniversary party. The accommodations were very roomy in the deluxe villa and very well maintained. We would all loved to have had more time to enjoy the resort and the beautiful area.

Great customer service

Helpful with check in late at night. We came for a wedding, would have liked it if we had all been in buildings closer together.

Mold on ceilings

I’m still waiting to get our money back for our stay. There was mold on the ceiling all over the bathroom that smelled. We have pictures.

Great Staff, Cozy Rooms

The staff was great, food was good, rooms were cozy. What more could you ask for? I wouldn't mind staying again when the weather is better to enjoy the outdoor activities. But everything indoors was cool, too.

Family friendly stay!

The staff was excellent! Sonia and Gilbert greeted us at check in with gifts and balloons for our family members birthday. They accommodated us by making sure all of our guests rooms were close by for easy access. The facility has activities that were fun for the entire family, including grandma! We had so much fun, we look forward to returning soon!

Great staff!

My Grandkids thoroughly enjoyed themselves! Great terrain for walking & enjoying nature. The Villas are a little dated, but comfortable.

Beautiful property

This was our first stay at Piney Shores resort, but it will not be our last! The property is beautiful. The main rooms are located some distance from the main amenities so we had to drive back and forth every time we wanted to swim or go to the beach; kept wishing we had a golf cart! Some of the amenities were dated, but they were clean and well-maintained. There is a small grill with food, but the quality of the food and drinks did not match the prices; it would have been nice to have a sit-down restaurant option. Loved the mini golf course!

Excellent place to stay

Excellent activities and facilities. Everything was clean and well taken care of. People were very helpful and pleasant.
