Covd 19 partial opening of activities

Unfortunately the covd 19 virus destroyed the best laid plans for a family get together. orange lake resort only partially open. Limited activities. Restaurants on resort closed.

Great accommodations

We had a Fantastic stay and will be looking to stay at a Holiday Inn Vacations Club again

OL was good now bad

Main lobby was awesome all covid-9 precautions taken with text alert of scheduled check-in. Our unit was in North Village and parking was an issue. Upon walking up to the entrance littler was around and landscaping not tended too and building roof appeared to be working on. And a couple was charcoal grilling on the 3rd floor landing of the elevator. The elevator was dirty with spills and not clean. Getting off the elevator was the grill smell which was noticed all the way to our unit. A couple of maids were still cleaning in/out of units and they were not wearing their masks even while passing us. The unit was clean but notice in the bathroom was not clean towards the top of the shower area. That afternoon we headed to the Lazy River to be told it was closed for an hour and to head to another pool. What? Why weren't we told at the main check-in about scheduled pool closings? We head back to the pool where our unit is and find sign that this pool is closed. Now I see why the building parking lot was full because folks using the pool are parking in the lot for the building. Once we find a parking space and get back to the unit we find that the ice-maker was not working. A serviceman came (with mask on) and found that the waterline was not turned on (what?). This was our 6th trip to OL and know this property is not up to its normal quality standards.

A great place

Family had a great time the pools were a lot of fun. The rooms are great too. Everything you need is in the rooms.

Shuttle

I feel you should have an airport shuttle to take you too and from airport

I love this place

If you are looking for a great vacation with your family and a safe place to stay this is the perfect location I love everything fun, the food and specialty the villas are amazing.

Great Stay at Orange Lake

From the lake excursions to the pools, this hotel was like a cruise boat on land. We didn't have to leave the resort for anything. A great stay.

The rooms are very spacious, It feels like home

Exceptional service , staff and stay

The Holiday Inn Club vacation was exceptional from the moment of arrival to our departure. This location is hands down amazing . Staff makes you feel very welcomed , very friendly and helpful. Also they truly go above and beyond to provide safety for all there guests and staff members. This was my family and I first time taking a mini family vacation with everything that's going on right now . We were hesitant at first because we didn't know what to expect . My only regret is that we didn't stay longer . This property has so much to offer , from lazy river that we loved , to jet skiing, putt putt , to Tons of restaurants all on the same property so there really was no need to go anywhere else. This particular location had tons of store near by that were 5 minutes away like Super Target, Publix , Dunkin Donuts and Chick-Fila. Super close to the new water park H2O . We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite ( upgraded ) which was impeccable, super clean and really just felt like home away from home . Guests and staff practiced social distancing and when they were unable to do so they wore there masks ( staff wore them all the time ) . To ensure safety of pool area not to get over crowded ( we went to lazy river pool) they only allowed a certain number of guests once the pool area reached capacity that was it. You have to rent the lazy river floats for $9 and they are yours to use for the day to ensure that only your germs go on it. My advice is get to the pool area early . Food service was great and staff went above and beyond. Will definitely be visiting this location again.
