Great area

Couldn’t have been better..Staff was great. Room was excellent. Golf course a lot of fun.

Friendly and peaceful place for a getaway!

Zach, Allison, and Ryan were all extremely personable! From the moment I arrived they did everything to help make me feel welcome and to ensure my stay would be great. It was so sweet of them to tell me about things to do in the local area, places to go, etc. The resort itself is beautiful. Parking is easy, my room was extremely clean, and it was so quiet. Only issue

Water was not turned on at the Putt Putt course and mosquitoes were awful.

Ok bed, one bedroom too hot and to TV that wasn't grainy

This was my most disappointing stay ever with Holiday Inn. The staff were polite and the grounds reasonable clean. The 3 Samsung TVs never displayed a clear picture and one of the bedrooms stayed 4 to 6 degrees warmer than the rest of the place. No cleaning of your room and you need to take your own trash out. I have stayed in France and Mexico long term and short term and I have never been this disappointed. This was supposed to be a mini stay for my wife to enjoy, but I really let her down by selecting this location.

Nice place for the area. First visit but would recommend to others visiting the area. Spacious rooms. Friendly staff.

Room Cleaniness

Please oversee the conditions of the rooms before your "Guests" arrive. If our rooms were cleaned better, our stay would have better review for you! Your Apple Valley facility is so very beautiful, serene, relaxing and comfortable! Please do a better job on the upkeep of this breathtaking property! Jan

Hidden fun

We stayed here recently as a weekend getaway for my daughter, her family and us. We had never heard of this resort but were pleasantly surprised upon arriving. It is a great location, close to several great restaurants and places to explore. The resort was not crowded, very quiet and peaceful. Just the things we needed. Pool was wonderful. We will be going back soon.

Mold in our room made us sick

Multiple ceiling patches on the ceiling, room smelled of musty mold smell and when the jets were turned on, black mold came out of the jets all in the bath water and it was so gross. We found out when we came home from vacation after getting on antibiotics in Georgia, that our son has mold exposure and he needed different treatment for it. Also, the toilets had almost no water pressure and the maintenance man had to plunge both of them. One time I called first thing in the morning and gave them permission to come in while we were gone and we came home at the end of the day to a stinky room because nobody came to plunge it, so I had to call again for them to come

A quiet weekend break

Conveniently located just off the highway, and only about 2 hours outside Atlanta the the Apple Mountain resort is a great weekend retreat. There are multiple beautiful waterfalls within easy driving distance. The cool air of the hills is a welcome change from steamy downtown Atlanta. We visited outside of peak season (kids were back in school) - The resort occupancy was fairly low so it was wonderfully quiet. Definitely worth the visit!!!!
