Exploring History in Williamsburg

This Williamsburg adventure will go down in history for you and your crew. Private transportation will whisk you to each event, starting with a Welcome Party and open bar at the historical Taverns in Downtown Colonial Williamsburg. After a delicious meal members will head out for a thrilling ghost tour. The next day begins with a trip to Historic Jamestown. Archaeologists uncovering the original 1607 James Fort awaits you as well as over 1,000 artifacts in the Archaearium. Don’t miss The Glasshouse where you can see costumed glassblowers using 17th-century tools and techniques to make beautiful pieces. After a delightful lunch and open bar with other members, the next leg of your adventure takes place in Yorktown, VA. Explore the renowned Yorktown Battlefields—the site of the last major battle of the Revolutionary War--and learn about General Washington’s triumph over the British army. Before the day is done don’t forget to visit the Historic Moore House, where Cornwallis negotiated his final surrender. At the end of this busy day of learning and fun members will head back to the resort for a restful night of relaxation.
